Avenger

Avengers are monks who have sworn to avenge a wrong done to them or someone they care about, as well as to eliminate the enemies of their chosen deity, monastery, or church. They use their martial arts training and spiritual discipline to track down and eliminate their enemies.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this subclass at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Survival and Longswords. Longswords are considered monk weapons for you.

Vow of Enmity

You can use a bonus action to select one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The creature becomes your Vow target until it drops to 0 hit points or for a duration of 10 minutes. The first use of this feature per short rest is free, subsequent uses require 1 ki point. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the target and the target has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you.

Divine Censure

At level 6, you can censure your Vow of Enmity target in a multitude of ways.  The first use of each Censure per short rest is free, while subsequent uses require 1 ki point:

• Retribution: When you hit your Vow target with an attack, you can spend 1 ki point to deal extra radiant damage equal to your Martial Arts die to the target.
• Unity: As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to grant yourself and all friendly creatures within 30 feet of you temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier + your monk level.
• Pursuit: When your Vow target leaves your melee attack range, you can spend 1 ki point and use your reaction to move up to your movement speed towards it.

Unstoppable Pursuit

At 11th level, you gain the ability to track your enemies with unparalleled efficiency. You gain advantage on Survival checks to track creatures, and you can move through difficult terrain caused by natural obstacles (such as rugged terrain or heavy undergrowth) at normal speed and without taking damage.

Vengeance is Mine

When you drop a creature that is your Vow target to 0 hit points, you can immediately use your Vow of Enmity again without spending ki.
