Monk
Base Class: Monk

An ancient religion, thought lost, the Jedi were guardians of peace and order. Unusual for referring to their Ki as "The Force," this order of monks wielded unique off-shoots of sun blades they called "Lightsabers" which were short-swords instead of the larger and wider long-sword style sun blades.

Force Training

You have been trained in the basics of using the Force. You gain access to the Mage Hand cantrip, and may use it at will. When using it in this way, you do not need any components, and no spectral hand appears, instead the spectral force is invisible.

Force Push

By focusing your Ki, you may use the Force to assault a number of targets with telekinetic might. As an action, you may make an attack against a target within your reach. For each additional target within your reach, you may spend 1 ki point to make an attack on them as well. This attack uses your Wisdom and If the attack hits, you may have one of the following effects occur on the target (additional effects can be selected for 1 ki point each, per target):

  - The target must succeed on a Dexterity save or be knocked prone

  - The target must succeed on a Strength save or be pushed 15 feet away from you

  - The target takes 1d4 Force damage

Lightsaber Training

You have been trained in basic lightsaber techniques and may use your lightsaber in place of an unarmed attack when using Flurry of Blows and in place of needing an empty hand for Deflect Missiles.

Lightsaber Mastery

Your lightsaber counts as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage. When you hit with your lightsaber, you may spend 1 ki point to inflict additional damage equal to your Martial Arts die. You may use this feature only once during each of your turns.

Enhance Ability

Whenever you make an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and have disadvantage, you may spend 2 ki points to cancel the disadvantage for that roll.

Force Mastery

After much study and dedication, you have attained true mastery of the Light Side of the Force. You may cast the spells Augury, Absorb Elements, Cure Wounds, Detect Thoughts, Divination, Enhance Ability, Foresight, Nondetection, Shield, Suggestion, and Telepathy using your ki points. You do not need any components for these spells, and the ki point cost is equal to the spell's level +1.
