Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Cosmos enhances the divine magics of a paladins with psychic abilities. Whether manifest from connection to aberrations, proximity to extraplanar rifts to places of abundant chaos or born under a wayward star, those who follow the Oath of the Cosmos are prophesied to defend against those who granted them such power, or help them in their conquest of the Prime Material plane.
Paladins who follow this oath are alert to the presence of plots of extraplanar incursions, and remain vigilant in preventing their actualization. These paladins are adept in using psionic power to enhance their capacity for both inflicting harm and providing a near unbreakable defense, growing powerful enough to draw the very life force out of foes as they are inflicted with a barrage of psychic wounds.

Channel Divinity
3rd-level Oath of the Cosmos feature
You gain the following two Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.
Psionic Blessings. As an action or reaction when you make an ability check, attack roll or saving throw you may use your channel divinity to gain the ability to add your charisma modifier to one of these rolls per round for one minute.
Static Interference. After you deal damage to a creature with your Divine Smite feature, you can use your Channel Divinity as a bonus action and impose disadvantage on Intelligence and Charisma saving throws on that creature for the next minute. At the end of each of that creature's turns while affected by this ability they can make either an Intelligence or Charisma saving throw (your choice) this end this effect early.
Psionic Power
7th-level Oath of the Cosmos feature
You harbor a wellspring of psionic energy within yourself. This energy is represented by your Psionic Energy dice, which are each a d8. You have a number of these dice equal to twice your proficiency bonus, and they fuel various psionic powers you have, which are detailed below.
Some of your powers expend the Psionic Energy die they use, as specified in a power’s description, and you can’t use a power if it requires you to use a die when your dice are all expended. You regain all your expended Psionic Energy dice when you finish a long rest. In addition, as a bonus action, you can regain one expended Psionic Energy die, but you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
When you reach certain levels in this class, the size of your Psionic Energy dice increases: 11th level (d10), and 17th level (d12). The powers below use your Psionic Energy dice.
Guided Blade. As a reaction, when you see a creature within 30ft making an attack roll you can guide their attack in an attempt to ensure the hit. Roll one Psionic Energy die. The number on the dice will get added to the attack roll, and if it hits, added to the damage as psychic damage. You expend the die only if the roll succeeds.
Psionic Smite. When using your divine smite ability, you may expend a Psionic Energy die and add the number rolled to the damage. The divine smite damage is now psychic damage, not radiant.
Telekinetic Maneuver. You can expend one Psionic Energy die to disengage as a bonus action. When you do this, your Armor Class increases by a number equal to your half your Proficiency Bonus until the start of your next turn unless you do not move out of a creature's melee range. The first time you use this power after each long rest, you don’t expend the Psionic Energy die. All other times you use the power, you expend the die.
Aura of Psionic Lore
15th-level Oath of the Cosmos feature
You may call on the psionic powers to bombard your foes with mental wounds. All hostile creatures that end their turn within 10ft take psychic damage equal to your level. In addition, you ignore resistance to psychic damage.
Unyeilding Spirit
20th-level Oath of the Cosmos feature
You can empower yourself with the essence of psionic power, flooded with the power of will of those around you. As a bonus action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Enemy creatures that end their turn within 30ft must make a Constitution Saving throw against your spell save DC or gain 1 level of exhaustion.
- You reroll any 1s on damage dice but must take the new roll.
- You gain advantage on Intelligence and Constitution saving throws.
- You may still make an ordinary attack of opportunity when a creature disengages from you.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a 5th-level spell slot to use it again.
