Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids of the Circle of Triffids believe that true power doesn't come from brute force. Sometimes, to thrive and dominate, a more subtle and nefarious touch is required. Like the carnivorous plants they have an affinity for, these druids value the tactics of intelligence, allure, manipulation, and deception. They sow a predatory garden to do their dirty work, and utilize intoxicating pheromones to mimic the effects of magical charms and illusions. Using these skills, they deceive and manipulate their prey to get the upper hand. Once the fly realizes the truth, it is far too late.

Actions

Ravenous Maws (Flytrap). Melee Weapon Attack: + PB to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (1d6 + PB) piercing damage damage. The Flytrap regains hit points equal to its PB. Roll a d4, if the result is a 4, the Flytrap can make an additional attack against the same creature, or another viable target in range.

Caustic Coffin (Pitcher Plant). Melee Weapon Attack: + PB to hit., one target that is of equal size or smaller. Hit: Target must make a dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC. If it fails, the target is swallowed. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the pitcher plant, and takes (1d4 + PB) acid damage at the start of each of its turns. At the end of each of its turns it can make a strength skill check against your spell save DC to escape the trap. If it succeeds, it lands within 5ft of the trap prone. When the Pitcher Plant takes damage, it must make a constitution saving throw with a DC of half the damage taken, spitting out its prey if it fails. The Pitcher Plant can only have one creature swallowed at a time.

Grasping Tendril (Sundew). Melee Weapon Attack: + PB to hit., one target. Hit: Target must make a dexterity or strength saving throw (its choice) against your spell save DC. If it fails, the target is grappled. At the start of each of its turns while grappled, it takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage, and necrotic damage equal to its PB. Upon taking the damage, the creature may remake the saving throw, escaping the grapple on a success. Creatures larger than the sundew make these saving throws with advantage.

Sinister Sting (Cobra Lily). Melee Weapon Attack: + PB to hit., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and (1d8 + PB) poison damage. The target must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be poisoned. The creature can remake the saving throw at the end of its turns, resisting the poison on a success.

Dormancy (Any). The carnivorous plant burrows into the ground, becoming undetectable to the naked eye. When a small or larger creature enters the plant's space, its creator may use its reaction to cause it to erupt from the ground. The creature that triggered it must make a dexterity saving throw with a DC of 6, or fall prone. The creator can end dormancy on any number of summoned plants as a bonus action, without imposing the saving throw on creatures near the plants.

Alluring Haze

As an action, you can expend a use of your wild shape feature to begin exuding intoxicating perfumes and pheromones. You can choose if the haze is visible or not. This effect lasts for 1 hour, or until you are incapacitated. While surrounded by the haze, creatures you touch, or that makes a melee attack against you, must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. If they fail, you can cause them to be charmed by you for the remainder of the effect, or until they take damage from you or creatures friendly to you. You can have a number of creatures charmed by this effect equal to your Wisdom Modifier (minimum 1). If you attempt to affect another, you must end the effect on a currently influenced creature.

Rampant Growth

The Carnivorous Plants you summon are now large, instead of medium. Their attacks roll 2 dice instead of 1, and have a range of 10ft.

Kiss of Death

Your body naturally produces potent toxins that you can inflict upon a creature you touch. Make a melee spell attack against a creature within 5ft of you. If the creature is charmed by you, the attack automatically hits. On a hit, the creature takes 1d4 poison damage per level in this class, and must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a fail, the creature is paralyzed. They can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the paralysis on a success. Once the attack hits, you must complete a short rest before using this feature again.
