Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

"You will be training the power of Persona, which you have awakened to.. Personas are, in other words, a 'mask' - an armour of the heart one wears when confronting worldly matters."

A Persona is not another entity, or otherworldly force that you must bargain with or work for like other warlock patrons, but instead a manifestation of your thoughts and feelings of anger or frustration at the world, the desire for rebellion against those who would wrong you or take advantage of you, your other self - with whom you forge a contract. In order to awaken the Persona one must typically be placed in a situation of great danger, or personal strife - such as facing and standing up against an individual who has particularly wronged you.

"I am thou... thou art I..."

The process of awakening one's persona can be incredibly traumatic and painful, but doing so allows the user to freely summon their other self - their Persona - onto the battlefield to fight with them.

Persona Manifestation

d6 Origin
1 I overcame my fear of an antagonous figure to save someone else, and that act of selfless rebellion awoke my Persona.
2 I was forced into an impossible situation by others and my unyielding desire to survive and escape brought forth my Persona to assist.
3 I was lied to and manipulated by someone I trusted, and the anger from learning the truth sparked the flame that is my Persona.
4 I overcame my own distorted, dark feelings in the form of a Sorrowsworn, breaking off those chains on my heart and awakening my Persona.
5 Some other entity, whether it be a god or otherwise, triggered the manifestation of my Persona for some unknown purpose.
6 Someone I care for has been changed by their distorted, dark feelings and my wish to save them from this darkness was answered by my Persona.
