Gentle Stream Gathers Pebble
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, if you hit a creature your size category or smaller with an unarmed attack you may spend your bonus action to grapple them. The escape DC is equal to your to your Ki save DC. In addition the grappled creature must make a Strength save equal to you Ki save DC, on a failure they are restrained for one round or until the grapple is broken.
At 6th level you can use this ability to grapple larger creatures. At 11th level you can grapple up to two creatures at the same time.
Raging River Moves Mountain
At 6th level you move like the mighty river allowing you to redirect enemies attacks. When a creature within 5 ft of you hits with a melee attack you may use your reaction to spend a Ki point and redirect the attack to the creature you are grappling. Roll 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level and reduce the damage by this amount, the grappled creature takes the damage instead.
Additionally Gentle Stream Gathers Pebble can now be used to grapple and restrain creatures one size category larger than you.
Still Lake Hidden Depths
By 11th level you are able to direct the movements of those around you even when they are out of your reach. As long as you are conscious enemies treat any space within 15 ft of you as difficult terrain and any allies moving into a space with in 15 ft of you do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Additionally you can now grapple up to two creatures.
Mighty Ocean Crashing Wave
At 17th level you have mastered the movements of waves. As long as you are conscious you cannot be knocked prone or be force to move.
Additionally when you hit a creature up to one size category larger than yourself with an unarmed attack you may spend your bonus action to throw them, possibly at another creature. The creature hit is placed in an unoccupied space up to 20 ft from their current location (10 ft if the creature is larger than you). After placing the creature you may have a creature adjacent to the placed creature make a Dexterity saving throw equal to your Ki DC. On a failed save the creature takes damage equal to your monk damage die + Wisdom Modifier.
