Base Class: Fighter

Demon slayer water style. Slice through your enemies like the tide, focusing on defense with the calmness of a lake, or damage with the rage of the ocean using combat techniques to get through your enemies, protecting the world from all that endangers it. 

Shifting tides

Level 3

You gain proficiency in insight. 

As an action you may switch between calm and anger. While calm you gain +2 AC while angry all your attacks gain an extra 1d4 damage. The AC goes up to +3 at level 10. The damage goes up to 1d8 at level 7 and up again to 1d12 at level 15.

 

Breathing Techniques-basics

Level 3

Gain 3 technique dice. These refresh every long rest. Gain another one at level's 7, 10, 15, and 18. You may spend 1 of these to use a technique. 

Form 1:Water surface slash- focus fully on one slash, crossing your arms to generate momentum into one horizontal slash. Deal an extra 1d8 damage with your next attack. at level 10 this goes up to 1d10. 

Form 2:water wheel-run forward jump up and spin unleashing a circular slash. Move 5 ft and deal your damage plus 1d4 to everyone within a 5 foot range of you. at level 10 the move goes up to 10ft and the damage goes to 1d6.

Level 7

Form 3:Flowing dance-bend and swing with your blade in a flowing pattern slicing anything within your path. Choose up to 3 enemies within your movement. if you haven't taken a move action yet you may attack all of them, ending your attack action at the final one. at level 15 the amount of enemies goes to 5. 

Form 4:striking tide-perform a multitude of slashes in a flowing pattern to release multiple attacks. Attack twice instead of once, but do not gain your modifier, only dealing damage with the dice. at level 15 this goes up to 3 attacks. All attacks must be on the same enemy. 

Breathing techniques-Moderate

Level 10

form 5: blessed rain after a drought-Change your grip to and with a single slash decapitate your opponent in a painless mercy killing. If an enemy has a status condition on it, or accepts it(this is the dm's decision), deal an extra 1d12 damage to it. This may instakill an enemy at the Dm's decision. 

form 6:whirlpool-perform a fierce whirling motion, twisting your body to generate a whirlpool, shredding anything caught in it. Deal your damage plus 1d6 to everything within 5 feet, if used underwater deal 1d10. this goes up to 1d8 and 1d12 at level 15. 

Form 7:Drop ripple thrust- Do a precise, fast, and accurate thrust with your blade. Reroll either your hit roll, and damage roll. You may choose to only reroll 1 instead. 

Flowing water

Level 10

When calm gain 10 speed. when angry you may use your reaction to move during your opponents turn with any unspent speed during your turn. You may spend a technique dice to avoid an opportunity attack.

Breathing techniques-Advanced

Level 15

Form 8: Waterfall basin-Cut in a downward vertical motion. Knock the opponent prone with your next attack. if your falling deal an extra 1d6 damage. 

Form 9:splashing water flow, turbulent- minimize your landing time, moving without limits. For the next 18 (3 turns) you may walk on walls, gain 5 speed, and difficult terrain cost no extra movement.

Level 15

Gain advantage on hit rolls when attacking demons and devils

Breathing techniques-Master

Level 18

Form 10:Constant flux-Charge forward unleashing a torrent of attacks, increasing in speed and damage with each attack. Attack an opponent 4 times. dealing an extra 1d6 damage on the first attack, 1d8 on the second, 1d10 on the 3rd, and 1d12 on the 4th. can only use this once per short rest. 

Form 11:Dead calm-Focus on defense only, slicing through every attack that goes for you. negate any attack that would've hit you this turn, this can be used as a reaction. Can only use once per short rest.
