Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Your patron is Zuggtmoy, a Demon Prince of the Abyss.  Titled the Queen of Rot and Decay, she revels in corrupting and poisoning the natural world.  Your patron is an enemy of all life and permanence, wishing to see the entire world decompose.  All creatures, especially plants, are susceptible to her influence.  If given her way, Zuggtmoy would see every forest wither, every fortress crumble, and every city succumb to plague in a glorious display of gruesome mortality.

Expanded Spell List

The Demon Prince Zuggtmoy lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Corrupted Soul

Starting at 1st level, you gain resistance to necrotic damage.  You also gain advantage on all saving throws against the effects of poison and disease.

Rotten Touch

Starting at 6th level, the toxic presence of your mistress has infected your weapons and spells.  Once per turn when you deal damage to an enemy with either a weapon attack or spell, you may force the damaged creature to make a Constitution saving throw against your warlock spell save DC.  On a failure, the target takes an additional 1d8 poison damage and becomes poisoned until the end of its next turn.  If you deal damage to multiple creatures with a single attack or spell, you may choose one of the creatures to target with this feature.

Root of Decay

Starting at 10th level, your patron allows you to send her tendrils of darkness into nearby corpses, enslaving them to your will. As a reaction when a Medium or smaller creature within 30 feet of you dies, you may transform that creature's corpse into a zombie under your control as though you had cast the animate dead spell. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum once), and regain expended uses following a long rest.

Thirst for Death

Beginning at 14th level, you begin to draw power as Zuggtmoy does, from death and the decay of living things. Whenever you cast a spell that deals either necrotic or poison damage, you regain a number of hit points equal to half of the damage dealt by the spell, rounded up. If the spell deals damage to more than one creature, choose one of the affected creatures and regain hit points based on the damage to that target alone.
