Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Your patron is the Demon Prince Baphomet.  Titled the Horned King, Baphomet's only motivations are death and destruction.  Your patron sees violence as the world's natural state, and he seeks to return the world to that state wherever he can, by any means necessary.  The Horned King seeks blood and slaughter.  Every battle is a feast, every battlefield a beautiful tapestry of blood and slaughter that only Baphomet and his chosen can weave.

Beastly Resilience

At 1st level your maximum hit points increase by 1.  Whenever you gain a level in this class, your maximum hit points increase by an additional 1.

In addition, critical hits against you deal reduced damage.  As a reaction when you are struck by an attack resulting in a critical hit, you may reduce the damage of that attack by 1d4 plus your proficiency modifier.

Thrill of the Hunt

Starting at 6th level your patron's love for chasing prey has begun to infect you.  When you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points on your turn, you may use a Bonus Action to move up to half your movement speed and make one additional melee weapon attack against a creature within range.  If you make an unarmed strike as part of this bonus action, it deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage plus your strength modifier, instead of the normal damage for an unarmed strike.

Brutal Display

Starting at 10th level, you are prone to overkill, making an example out of those who fall before you.  When you kill a creature, other creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you or the target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC.  On a failure, creatures become frightened of you for one minute.  While frightened in this way, the creature must use its movement each turn to move as far away from you as possible, and can only take the Dash, Disengage, or Dodge action on its turn.  This effect ends early if the creature finishes its movement in a location where it can no longer see you or the creature you killed.  Undead cannot be affected by this feature.

You may use this feature once, regaining the ability to do so following a long rest.

The Beast Within

Starting at 14th level, you are able to invoke Baphomet's presence within your body as an action, transforming yourself into a dangerous beast.  For one minute you gain a monstrous appearance, with horns, claws, thick fur and glowing eyes.  You also gain the following benefits:

  • You, along with anything you are wearing or carrying, double in size, and you are now one size category larger than usual.  Your melee weapon attacks deal an additional 1d4 damage as a result of your increased size.
  • You gain temporary hit points equal to 1d10 plus your warlock level.  These hit points disappear when your transformation ends.
  • Your Strength and Constitution scores both increase by 4, up to a maximum of 22.
  • You have advantage on Strength checks and saving throws
  • Your walking speed increases by 10 feet
  • You cannot be charmed, frightened, paralyzed or poisoned for the duration.  If you are suffering from any of these conditions when you transform, their effects on you are suspended until your transformation ends.

Your transformation ends after one minute, or when you drop to 0 hit points.  You must complete a long rest before using this feature again.
