Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Jötunn Berserkers are barbarians who have unlocked the primal fury of the giants. They’ve learned how to tap into the elemental powers of fire and ice, and use them to devastating effect on the battlefield.

Elemental Rage

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to infuse your rage with elemental power. Whenever you enter a rage, you can choose to imbue yourself with fire or ice. If you choose fire, your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 fire damage. If you choose ice, your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 cold damage.

Starting at 6th level, while raging, all fire and cold damage you deal ignores all resistances.

Starting 10th level, this damage increases to 2d6.

Shove of the Elements

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your bonus action to force one creature within 10 feet of you that is medium or smaller to make a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save, the creature is knocked backwards 10 feet into the nearest open space.

You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your Constitution modifier.

Starting 10th level, you can push creatures back that are large or smaller.

Jötunn Resilience

Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to reduce incoming damage of any type. When you are hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d10 + your Constitution modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your Constitution modifier.

Jötunn Blood

Starting at 6th level, as an action, you can increase your size to the large size category. The effects of this increase are the same as those of the Enlarge/Reduce spell and last for 1 minute.

You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to half of your Proficiency Bonus.

Glacial Charge

At 10th level, you gain the ability to charge through enemies with the power of a glacier. As a bonus action, you can move up to your speed in a straight line, passing through the space of any creature that is large or smaller. Each creature you pass through takes 2d6 force damage, and must make a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be knocked away 5 feet into the nearest empty space. If you or any other creature ends this movement in the same space as another creature, both creatures take an additional 1d10 force damage and the moving creature is knocked to the nearest empty space.

Additionally, if you end your movement in a space adjacent to a creature, you can make a melee weapon attack against that creature as part of the same bonus action. You can use this feature twice per short rest.

Starting at 14th level, the initial damage increases to 4d6.

Ragnarok's Fury

Ragnarok's Fury

At 14th level, you can channel the destructive power of Ragnarok itself. When you enter a rage, you enter a state of Ragnarok's Fury, gaining the following benefits:

  • You can now increase your size to huge when using your Jötunn Blood feature. While at this size, you can add your proficiency bonus to the amount of damage reduced by your Jotun Resilience feature.
  • When you reduce damage using your Jötunn Resilience feature, you can deal 1d6 fire or cold damage to the creature as a part of the same reaction.
  • You gain immunity to fire and cold damage.
