Arcane Mech

3rd-level Arcane Mech feature

Your metallurgical pursuits have led to you making Mech a conduit for your magic. As an action, you can turn a suit of armor you are wearing into Arcane Mech, provided you have smith’s tools in hand as well as using a 1st level spell slot .The higher the spell slot the bigger the Mech starting with 1 level will be medium 2 level be large 3 level will be huge and 4th level will be Gargantuan. When you increase in size so does your weapons.

You gain the following benefits while wearing this armor:

  • If the armor normally has a Strength requirement, the arcane armor lacks this requirement for you.
  • You can use the arcane mech as a spellcasting focus for your artificer spells.
  • The mech attaches to you and can’t be removed against your will. It also expands to cover your entire body. The mech replaces any missing limbs, functioning identically to a limb it replaces.
  • You can speak through a loud speaker in the Mech so others can hear you.
  • You can doff or don the armor as an action.
  • The weapons you use can utilize your intelligence modifier instead of strength and dexterity.
  • When you increase in size from large onward you get an additional 1d4 for all weapons your Mech is equipped with or holding. Example 1d4 for large 2d4 for huge 3d4 for gargantuan.

The mech continues to be an Arcane mech until you use this feature again or after 4 hours or you die.

Mech Gear

3rd-level Mechassault feature

You can customize your Arcane Mech. When you do so, choose one of the following, Void shield, missile Platform, enhanced acceleration. The gear you choose gives you special benefits while you wear it.

You can change the armor’s gear whenever you finish a short or long rest, provided you have smith’s tools in hand.

Enhanced Acceleration

Your mech's Core gets an upgrade making it feel lighter and be faster. This will allow you to make quick but lethal melee attacks. You gain these features when you choose this gear.

  1. Your reach increases by 5ft when medium or large and 10ft when huge or Gargantuan
  2. Your movement speed increases by 10ft when medium or large, and by 20ft when huge or Gargantuan.
  3. You have the ability to make large sweeping attacks. As a bonus action you can make one melee weapon attack that can hit up too 3 enemies that are within your reach.  You roll only once for the attack and damage and apply to any of the 3 that you were able to hit. You can only do this attack up to your proficiency modifier and regain them when you take a short or long rest.

Missle Platform

You customize your Mech for ranged combat. It has the following features:

Missle Launcher. Missile pods appear on your back and as a bonus action you make 3 ranged weapon attacks that auto hit at a range of 120 feet. Each dealing 1d4+1 force damage. You can only do this up to your proficiency bonus and resets every short or long rest.

Gun Platform. You can make ranged weapon attacks at advantage if you do not move for the turn.

Void Shield

You design your armor to be in the front line of conflict. It has the following features:

Enhanced Armor. Your hit points are increased by 1 for every level in this class. This effect increases by your size when using the effect of Arcane Mech. So your hit points increase by 2 for large 3 for huge and 4 for gargantuan.

Defensive Field. As a bonus action, you can gain temporary hit points equal to your level in this class, replacing any temporary hit points you already have. You lose these temporary hit points if you doff the Mech. You can use this bonus action a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Extra Attack

5th-level Armorer feature

You can attack twice, rather than once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Mech Modifications

9th-level Mechassault feature

You learn how to use your artificer infusions to specially modify your Arcane Mech. That Mech now counts as separate items for the purposes of your Infuse Items feature: armor (the chest piece), boots, helmet, and the Mech’s special Gear. Each of those items can bear one of your infusions, and the infusions transfer over if you change your Mech’s Gear with the Mech Gear feature. In addition, the maximum number of items you can infuse at once increases by 2, but those extra items must be part of your Arcane Mech.

Core Overcharge

15th-level Mechassault feature

Your Core is pushed to the max you gain the benefits of haste and enlarge from enlarge reduce.

Core Overcharge. As a bonus action you over charge your core gaining the effect of Haste and Enlarge from Enlarge/reduce without needing any components or concentration. You can only use this ability once per long rest or be using a 5th level spell slot.
