Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The extraplanar energy of the Feywild course through your veins. The whimsical, over-elaborate nature manifests in your natural affinity for magic. You or one of your ancestors became involved in Fey matters, which has caused the magic of the plane to implant itself into your body through one of the Feywild's two courts: the Summer Court of Queen Titania or the Gloaming Court of the Queen of Air and Darkness. Whichever matriarch grants you strength, it has allowed you to make sense and control aspects of what many consider to be the most bizarre plane.

Faerie Magic

1st-level Faerie Hearted feature

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Faerie Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or a transmutation spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

Faerie Spells

3rd mirror image, moonbeam
5th blink, protection from energy
7th confusion, greater invisibility
9th reincarnate, seeming

In addition, consult the Exotic Quirks table and choose or randomly determine a way your connection to order manifests while you are casting any of your sorcerer spells.

Exotic Quirks
d6 Quirks
1 Glittering faerie lights glow around you.
2 An ethereal voice hums a quiet, calming song.
3 All the colors around you become more saturated and bright.
4 Your body becomes sheathed in twilight.
5 Your spellcasting focus temporarily takes the form of a firefly.
6 You and those affected by your magic see small glimpses and wisps of the Feywild.

Court's Favor

1st-level Faerie Hearted feature

The energy within you originates from one of the two courts of the Feywild. Choose between Seelie's Blessing and Unseelie's Curse. Seelie's Blessing is drawn from the Summer Court, overseen by Queen Titania. Unseelie's Curse originates from the Gleaming Court, ruled by the Queen of Air and Darkness.

Seelie's Blessing

The positive energy of the Summer Court bursts forth along with your magic. When you cast a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose an ally within 30 feet to regain a number of hit points equal to the spell's level plus your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Unseelie's Curse

The negative energy of the Gloaming Court lashes out whenever you use your magic. When you cast a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher that succeeds in affecting a single target, you can choose a different target within 30 feet of you to make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, apply one of the following effects.

  • They take necrotic damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).
  • They are blinded until the start of your next turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Potent Trickery

6th-level Faerie Hearted feature

You tap into the enchanted magic responsible for the fey crossings, allowing your deceptive spells to become more potent. When you cast an enchantment or illusion spell that requires the target(s) to make a saving throw, you can spend 1 to 3 sorcery points to subtract a number equal to twice the number of sorcery points spend from the saving throw. For illusion spells, this applies to any saving throws made to discern the illusion's true nature, but the sorcery points are still spent at the initial casting.

When a creature fails a saving throw for a spell using Potent Trickery, they are affected by the spell for 50% longer. If the duration is one round, the duration is instead increased by a number of rounds equal to the number of sorcery points spent.

Mist Walker

14th-level Faerie Hearted feature

Your connection to the Feywild bolsters your teleportation abilities. The range of misty step is permanently extended to 90 feet when you cast it. In addition, you may choose to enhance your teleportation, gaining an additional effect based on the power you chose for your Court's Favor.

Seelie's Blessing

Immediately after using misty step, you can choose a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1) within 15 feet of you. Those creature(s) gain temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level. In addition, you may choose to end one effect that is causing the creature(s) to be charmed or frightened.

Unseelie's Curse

Immediately after using misty step, you become invisible, as if you were being affected by the greater invisibility spell. Creatures attempting to discern your location make their Perception check at disadvantage.

An illusory duplicate of yourself is left where you teleported from. You may mentally give your illusory duplicate a single, basic command to follow, such as moving, hiding, or attacking (though it will have no effect).

Once you use misty step in this way, you can’t enhance it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 5 sorcery points to enhance it again.

Feywild Conduit

18th-level Faerie Hearted feature

The magic residing within you has fully cultivated, allowing you to conjure a Fey crossing. As an action, you and up to ten creatures you can see within 60 feet are transported to the Feywild. Unwilling creatures must make a Charisma saving throw to resist this effect. You can use Potent Trickery with this feature, but the sorcery point cost is doubled. Choosing where to teleport is the same as the plane shift spell.

As you cross into the Feywild, you can control the effects of Feywild Magic as noted in the Dungeon Master's Guide. Specifically, you can choose creatures to be immune to the Memory Loss effect and control the Feywild Time Warp effect.

Once you use this action, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 7 sorcery points to use it again.
