Base Class: Artificer

You have thought that creating battle robots was cool, but now you decided to learn from the ancients to create golems and sentient armor. 

Arcane-Minded Tools

3rd-level Arcane-Minded feature

You gain proficiency with arcana checks if you do not already. You also gain proficiency with smith’s tools. If you already have this tool proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.

Arcane-Minded Spells

3rd-level Arcane-Minded feature

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Armorer Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Arcane Dice

3rd-level Arcane-Minded feature

You get the power to call to the ancients to get Arcane dice which help you create and protect. These dice gives you special benefits when you use them. You regain all dice back after a long rest.

You can use them for adding to spell damages and checks, used to add to your saving throws, or create.

Your Arcane Dice type increases at levels 6(d8), 10(d10), 14(d12), 17(d20)

Your Arcane Dice count increases at levels 5(2), 8(3), 13(4), 16(5)

 

Arcane Life Armor

3rd-level Arcane-Minded feature

Your metallurgical pursuits have led to you making armor a conduit for your magic. After every long rest, you can expend an Arcane dice to turn a suit of armor you are wearing into Arcane Life Armor, provided you have smith’s tools in hand.

You create a set of animated armor that follows you with these stats.

  • AC: 2 + intelligence modifier + 5 x artificer level
  • HP: Your artificer level d10
  • Speed: 35 ft.
  • Immutable Form: The armor is immune t any effect that would alter its form
  • Immunities: Poison and Disease
  • Vigilant: The armor cannot get surprised
  • Greatsword: Deals 2d6 + 4 force damage
  • Self repairing: Every round the armor is undamaged, it regains 3 x your artificer level hit points
  • Disassemble/Reassemble: As a reaction the armor can disassemble an then reform himself to pose disadvantage on the attacker's attack. You can use this ability equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.

The armor lasts for 10 minutes or until it is killed.

Extra Attack

5th-level Arcane-Mind feature

You can attack twice, rather than once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Fuse with Arcane Life Armor

9th-level Arcane-Minded feature

You can put on the sentient armor as a bonus action which you gain the following benefits:

  • Your speed increases by 35 ft.
  • You can attack as a bonus action
  • While you have the armor on, you have immunity to poison and disease
  • Your AC is set to 20

Golem

15th-level Arcane-Minded feature

You can expend an Arcane Dice to create a golem.

Stone Golem. 

  • AC: 5 + Artificer Level
  • HP: 10 + 5 x Artificer Level
  • Speed: 60 ft.
  • Immutable Form: The golem is immune to any effect that would alter its form
  • Vigilant: The Stone golem cannot be surprised
  • Resistance: Slashing, Bludgeoning, and Piercing from non-magical attacks
  • Devastating Fist: 5 ft. +9 to hit, 4d20 + 14 bludgeoning damage and target must succeed a DC 21 Strength saving throw or get launched 30 ft away from it and get knocked prone. If the target hits a wall, they take 3d6 bludgeoning damage.
  • Boulder Throw: 80/320 ft. +10 to hit, 5d12 + 12 bludgeoning damage and the target must succeed a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

The golem gets destroyed after 2 hours, or it dies.

Metal Golem. 

  • AC: 8 + Artificer level
  • HP: 12 + 4 x Artificer level
  • Speed: 35 ft.
  • Immutable Form: The golem is immune to any effect that would alter its form
  • Vigilant: The golem cannot be surprised
  • Resistance: Slashing, Bludgeoning, and Piercing from non-magical attacks
  • Blade: 15 ft. +7 to hit, 4d12 + 15 and 2d12 + 8 fire damage

The golem gets destroyed after 2 hours, or it dies.

Golem - Metal Golem

  • AC: 8 + Artificer level
  • HP: 12 + 4 x Artificer level
  • Speed: 35 ft.
  • Immutable Form: The golem is immune to any effect that would alter its form
  • Vigilant: The golem cannot be surprised
  • Resistance: Slashing, Bludgeoning, and Piercing from non-magical attacks
  • Blade: 15 ft. +7 to hit, 4d12 + 15 and 2d12 + 8 fire damage

Golem - Stone Golem

AC: 5 + Artificer Level

HP: 10 + 5 x Artificer Level

Speed: 60 ft.

Immutable Form: The golem is immune to any effect that would alter its form

Vigilant: The Stone golem cannot be surprised

Resistance: Slashing, Bludgeoning, and Piercing from non-magical attacks
