Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Only lycanthropes can walk the Path of the Moon, as it guides and controls them. Barbarians who join the Path of the Moon are inextricably drawn to the power it holds over them, especially during the full moon. The rage of a Moon barbarian is unlike any other, as it calls upon the innate power of the beast they harbor within.

Bestial Form

3rd-level Path of the Beast feature

Whenever you use your Lycanthrope shift ability, you can enter a rage at the same time using the same bonus action. When you are raging in a bestial form, you gain temporary hit points at the start of each turn equal to your barbarian level.

Bound to the Moon

6th-level Path of the Beast feature

Your connection to your inner beast strengthens, and you gain increased abilities while raging.

  • You have advantage on initiative rolls if you activate your rage on your first turn.
  • If you are raging at nighttime, you can freely transform between animal shapes as a bonus action without expending a wildshape use.
  • If you are raging and are exposed to the moon at any time during your turn, your movement speed increases by 10 feet and you crit on a 19 or 20

Primordial Fury

10th-level Path of the Beast feature

Your bestial forms are more empowered while raging, and even more so while at night. Whenever you rage, your bestial forms gain advantage on all attack rolls during the first turn of your rage. Additionally, whenever you rage at night, you crit on a 19 or 20 and your movement speed is increased by 10 feet. This increases to an 18, 19, or 20 whenever you are exposed to the moon, with movement speed increasing by 20 feet instead of by 10.

Predator

14th-level Path of the Moon feature

Your connection to your bestial side deepens, granting you full access to your powers. Once per short rest, you may enter your truest bestial form. As a bonus action, you can transform into an ancient Predator for one minute. While in this form, you gain the following effects.

  • You enter a rage
  • You gain blindsight up to 120 feet and can see through thin walls
  • Your speed increases to 60 feet
  • You have advantage on all attacks and crit on an 18, 19, or 20
  • Any time that you crit on an attack, you can make an additional attack in the same action.

At the end of the transformation, you are paralyzed for one hour and gain five levels of exhaustion. You also lose all temporary hitpoints.
