Bard
Base Class: Bard

There have been many kinds of bards: Practiced politicians, puckish rogues, serenading brawlers, whimsical dungeon delvers and more! The most respected bards on the battle field of those of the College of Valor and Swords. Fighting with grace and honor to smite their foes. However, where is the fury? The beauty of visceral, unchained combat that they shy from? The bone-splitting power of an axe, the gore splatter of a warhammer, and the the satisfying screams of your enemies? The College of Valor and Swords would teach you that joy in such barbarism does not lead to art. The College of barbarism would disagree. The Bard's born of this college the primal fury exhibited in the most ferocious of warriors and beasts. They seek to channel that ferocity into their art. It is the display and celebration of power in its most ancient form that is their muse. Bard's born of this College go by one moniker: the Skalds.

Primal Proficiencies

When you join the College of Barbarism at 3rd level, you gain Proficiency in martial weapons and shields. In addition you exude a strange confidence in your newfound primal prowess. You gain the Unarmored defense feature of the Barbarian but instead it is calculated as 10 + Dexterity + your Charisma Modifier while your unarmored and unencumbered. You can still use shields and gain this benefit.

Raging Song

At 3rd level a Bard, or Skald, of the  College of Barbarism is trained to use guttural noises, creative curses, oration, or inspiring war chants to get the blood pumping. As an action you can expend a use of your Bardic inspiration to start a Raging Song. This song lasts for 1 minute. All allied creatures within  30ft gain a bonus to melee and ranged damage rolls equal to your proficiency bonus. While a creature is under this effect, they can cast spells but gain disadvantage on concentration checks for the duration. If the bard is attacked during the song, he must make a Charisma (Performance) check ( DC 10 + Half the damage dealt) to keep the song going. A failure on this check results in the song ending early. Only creatures that can see or hear your performance can benefit from this feature.

Saga of Savagery

At 6th level, you have learned to inspire both rage and desperation in your enemies. You learn the Enemies Abound and Fear spells. During your Raging song, you can cast either spell  once without expending a spell slot or material component if you succeed a DC 15 Performance Check as an action. You cannot do so again until you take a short rest. In addition, enemy spell casters suffer disadvantage on concentration checks if they can see or hear you during your Raging song.

Skaldic Frenzy

At 14th level, ferocity and dread you inspire cannot be ignored as emotion takes over in your performance. The Range of Raging Song is increased to 60ft. All enemy creatures that can see or hear you during your raging song have disadvantage on Charisma and Intelligence saving throws. Allied creatures affected by Raging Song are immune to fear and charm effects and they subtract 3 points of damage from slashing, bludgeoning, and piercing damage from non-magical sources. In addition, when an enemy creature you can see casts a spell with a verbal component while within your Raging Song, It must make an immediate Concentration check against your Spell save DC or the spell fails.
