Base Class: Paladin
Cosmic warriors are extremely attuned to the twinkling bygone eras of the stars that light the night sky. An Oath of the Cosmos Paladin commonly draws their powers from the frequencies produced by the stars in the sky, achieving great feats of strength under the watchful gaze of the midnight air. Some of the more renowned advocates for the stars have even been rumored to have been able to mimic the radiance of a vivid star in the way they fight. However, the stars of the night sky do not exhibit that of the divine path, but rather, the stars exhibit their radiant smite down on those who are undeserving.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Starlight Smite. You must lay out the vengeance of the stars against those who have been deemed undeserving. When you make a successful attack roll with a martial melee weapon against a creature, you can choose to expend a use of your Channel Divinity to smite them with the power of the stars. The creature targeted by this smite takes force damage equivalent to a number of d6 equal to your proficiency bonus and if they are Large or smaller, they must succeed a Strength saving-throw or be knocked prone. You cannot use this feature and your Divine Smite feature on the same successful attack. Additionally, when the attack that triggered this smite is a critical hit, you do not double the damage dice for this feature.
Cosmic Sight. You can see the inner magical workings of all that the light of the stars touches. As an action you may expend a use of your Channel divinity and for 1 minute, you are granted a +5 bonus to any Perception and Arcana checks you make. Additionally, you experience the effects of the Detect Magic spell for up to 1 minute without concentration, with a range of 60 feet. As a bonus action, you may dismiss the benefits granted by this feature early.

Astral Beam
At 7th level, the healing properties of the stardust retained from a dying star are gifted unto you. When it is your turn, you may use an action to bring an unconscious creature within 60 feet of you back to consciousness with 1 hit point. In addition, the creature is brought back to standing position by a beam of light, ending the prone condition on the targeted creature instantaneously. This feature can be used once per long rest.
Galactic Divinity
At 15th level, your Channel Divinity is improved greatly. The damage dealt by your Starlight Smite affects both the targeted creature and one other hostile creature of your choice within 30 feet of the targeted creature. You needn’t make an attack roll against the second targeted creature; it takes the full damage immediately after the initially targeted creature. If there are no remaining hostile creatures within a 30-foot radius of the initial target for the Channel Divinity to continue on to, the initial target takes an extra 1d8 force damage.
Additionally, your Cosmic Sight is improved. For the duration, you are now granted a +5 bonus to Perception, Arcana, and any Charisma-based ability check you make. The range for your Detect Magic and See Invisibility increases to 300 feet.
Cosmic Supernova
At 20th level, your attunement to the stars is significantly powerful. You may use your Astral Beam twice per long rest now. Additionally, the cosmos can empower you as the embodiment of their vengeance. As a bonus action, you are granted the following benefits for 1 minute:
- A 15-foot radius of gravitational pull surrounds you, with you at the center. This 15-foot radius is considered to be difficult terrain to all enemy creatures, but your companions may use their movement normally within this radius. Additionally, any enemy creature that ends their turn in this radius takes 1d8 force damage and is drawn 5 feet towards you. If they are unable to be drawn any closer to you without impacting you, they take an additional 1d8 of force damage and remain where they are.
- You embody the radiance of the galaxies’ brightest stars. Any bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage that you deal with martial weaponry during this transformation is considered to be radiant damage. Additionally, you may add an extra 1d8 force damage to any successful melee attacks made against an enemy creature within the duration of this feature.
- You are as resilient as the ley lines, the very inner workings of the universe. For the duration of this feature, you have immunity to radiant damage and you have resistance to necrotic damage.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a 5th-level spell slot to use it again.
