Base Class: Barbarian
"Beware the quiet man. For while others speak, he watches. And while others act, he plans. And when they finally rest... he strikes."
Unlike most other barbarians, your anger is kept under control, quietly boiling away beneath the surface. You stand almost statuesque as you seethe with rage against those who would harm you or your friends and family. Pausing to take a deep breath, you walk steadily to the source of your hatred, muscles tightening and anger burning in your eyes. Without a word, you get to work dispatching those who sought you harm.
Unflinching
Starting at 3rd level, you can steady your stance and become anchored in place. When you fail an ability check or saving throw against an effect that would forcibly move you (such as the thunderwave spell), or knock you prone, you can instead choose to succeed (no action required). You still suffer all the other effects for failure, such as taking the full amount of damage. This feature does not work against effects that teleport you, send you to other planes or against gravity. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
Quiet Resolve
Starting at 6th level, you become more patient and can withstand a greater threshold of pain. While raging, you gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus at the end of your turn. These temporary hit points only last until your rage ends.
Sturdy as Stone
Starting at 10th level, you feel confident in the face of overwhelming odds, seemingly impervious as the blows of your enemies crash against you, much like a rough sea. Your skin seems to harden in response to this danger, enabling you to weather any storm.
While raging, you gain +1 to AC per hostile creature that you can see within 5 feet of you, up to a maximum of +4.
Pillar of Strength
Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to shove a creature, either to knock it prone or push it away from you. Additionally, whenever you shove a creature, the target can be up to two sizes larger than you. If the target is no more than one size larger than you, you can push it up to 10 feet away from you, rather than the usual 5 feet.
