Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Cuisine train to turn dangerous creatures into masterfully crafted, magically infused meals. The most powerful of these bards are known far and wide for hunting down and harvesting rare ingredients to craft the most flavorful meals in all the land, and borrowing the strengths of the monsters they eat.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Cuisine at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the (WIS)Survival skill, and with one weapon of your choice that deals slashing damage.

Hungry for Battle

3rd-level College of Cuisine feature

Upon rolling initiative you may expend one bardic inspiration die, allowing a number of creatures you choose up to your charisma modifier to add bardic inspiration to their initiative roll.

Monster Meals

3rd-level College of Cuisine feature

As an action, you may make a (WIS)survival check with a DC equal to the Monsters CR, attempting to harvest ingredients from the body of a dead non-humanoid creature. On a success the next time you long rest you may use a collected ingredient to cook a magic infused dish. Cooking the dish gives you a deep knowledge of the creature allowing you to view its ability scores. At the end of the long rest you may eat the meal or feed it to another character temporarily granting them one ability score matching the corresponding ability score of the creature. This effect ends after taking a short or long rest.

Fierce Flavors

6th-level College of Cuisine feature

As your understanding of ingredients and their properties grows so too does the power packed into your meals. When you use the Monster Meals feature to create a meal you now gain knowledge of the entire stat block of the creature from which you harvested the ingredients. Additionally you may select one of the creature's actions or one spell cast through the innate spellcasting feature to infuse into the meal.  While a creature is benefiting from the effects of a monster meal they may, as an action, use the infused action or spell once.

Dinner Party

14th-level College of Cuisine feature

Good food is better with friends. When you use your Monster Meals feature, after completing a long rest, you may expend any number of your bardic inspiration dice to create additional servings of the dish. For each bardic inspiration die expended in this way one additional creature gains the effects of the Monster Meal.
