Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Hauruchi Warriors are the masters of martial arts unarmed combat They learn techniques to attack, protect, and, in turn,  punish their opponents as well as manipulate ki to pursue physical perfection, honing their body as a smith sharpens a sword. (Note. This Subclass may seem a bit overpowered but please keep in mind that the Haruchai Warriors do not wear armor, carry weapons or use magic and/or magical items).

The Way of the Haruchai Warrior arose when three Bloodguard were possessed and became minions of corruption. At that time, their perceptions of service, and themselves, were slain; as a result, they display their pride, hide their shame, and seek redemption. They look to help the Lawful  and Good as well as protect Earthpower--most likely helping and protecting creatures they deem worthy or as vital manpower in dangerous quests but never for their own personal gain.

Though the Harucahi Warrior seems impassive, the extremity of passion runs deep. If any Haruchai uses armor, weapons, arcane or divine magic, the warrior will be brutally ostracized from not only this monk order but also banished from the Harucahi race. For the Haruchai, shame and grief are more terrible than any other fate.

The Haruchai  honor Earthpower  with much devotion, and they gladly help and support any who use Eathpower respectfully. They will, however, stop any who attempt to defile or corrupt Earthpower

Embodiment of Steel

At 3rd level, when you choose this tradition, your Martial Arts training has hardened both your body and mind. The Haruchai never wear armor. They rely on their abilities and training to protect them. In addition, they refuse to use magic preferring to believe in their own strength.

Due to your rigorous training and harsh living environment, your damage die increases for unarmed strikes. You can roll a d6 in place of the normal damage for your Unarmed Strike (Steel Strike) and Flurry of Blows (Fists of Fury). This die changes to a d8 at 5th level; a d10 at 11th level; and 2d6 at 17th level. This increased damage can be applied to Steel Strike and Fists of FuryNote. Since D&D Beyond will not allow attack damage to be changed, for this subclass, I've changed "Unarmed Attack" to Steel Strike and "Flurry of Blows" to Fists of Fury. All attacks will appear on the Character Sheet, but only Steel Strike and Fists of Fury will have the improved damage. All rules that apply to "Flurry of Blows" also apply to Fists of Fury.

Forces of Eldritch Lore

Unlike the Bloodguard, the Haruchai Warrior believe in the power of their own choices, and as you have not made a Vow of Service, you are wary of compulsion; therefore, At 3rd level, your Percipience enhances into an Earth Sense giving you advantage on saving throws to the condition of being charmed, frightened, or possessed

Your newly acquired Earth Sense allows you analyze your attack, and instead of the extra damage for a critical hit, if you spend 1 ki  point, you can make 3 unarmed melee attacks.

Faith of Body

At 6th level, you gain the ability to heal yourself. As an action, you can regain hit points equal to three times your monk level. You may do this each day at dawn.

Earthpower  allows you to take a dash action increasing your movement by 10 for that action, and Earthpower gives you a +1 to your unarmed attacks, and if you roll a 19 on an attack roll, you can expend 1 Ki  point to change it to a critical hit. Your lawful nature and Earth Sense allows you to analyze an opponents movements, and you can use Lawful Strike. Whenever an adversary misses you with an attack, you can immediately use your Reaction  and 1 ki  point to make an unarmed strike against that creature if it’s within your reach. This benefit lasts until you finish a short.

Spirit of Combat

Beginning at 11th level Earthpower strengthens your unarmed attacks, and your Earth Sense  as well as your battle experience have sharpened your combat senses to extraordinary heights giving you the following benefits.

  • Eldritch Fists: for the cost of 2 Ki Points, +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. You can spend 6 Ki  Points in this manner, and it lasts for 1 minute.
  • Fortitude. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 Ki  point to gain Resistance to Slashing and Piercing damage for 1 minute.
  • Resolute Technique. Once a day as an action you can spend 4 ki  points to treat your Unarmed Attack Rolls as a 10 if you roll a 2-9--a fumble is still a fumble. This lasts for 1 minute.
  • Impunity. You now have Immunity from being frightened
  • Renew. Once per day during a Short Rest, you regain Ki  Points equal to your Wisdom Modifier +1.

Ferocity of Offense

At 17th Level, Ability Score Improvement (choose 2) by 1, which may exceed 20. Your unarmed strikes Ignores Disadvantage, Resistance and Immunity to Bludgeoning damage, and you gain an 18-20 on an attack roll is a critical.

Also, You have the ability to channel your Ki  (EarthPower) into one devastating attack. Once per turn when you make a successful unarmed strike, you can spend Ki Points turning it into Granite Fists dealing 5d10 Earthpower (force) damage to the target. When you hit a creature with Granite Fists, you can deal damage to the target and also grapple it, knock it prone, or shove it 15 feet away from you and/or your ally.
