Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Way of the crimson oath was founded centuries ago by a single Dhampir that had grown disillusioned with the life he had been born to lead- and sought to master his thirst through mastery of both body and mind. For a time he was a simple monk, training amongst those of the Way of Mercy, in hopes that the exposure to the sick and dying might strengthen his resolve, and should he fail momentarily in his quest to resist the call of the blood at the very least his blood lust could be directed to someone already doomed to deaths sweet embrace.  Some time later this Dhampir came to the attention of the werewolves of the Blood Hunter order. And the two natural enemies came to an understanding, bonded in having no control over what they were but striving to better who they became. They helped him perfect his methods of resistance through hemo-craft and in turn he began to teach any other wayward dhampir what the werewolves could not.

And as such, the Order of the crimson Oath came to be.

Blood points

When you choose this Oath at 3rd level you gain use of the vampiric bite from the dhampir racial feature regardless of your race. Your bite attack scales off of DEX.

At 3rd level you gain access to a pool of blood points that are used to augment your super natural abilities. The number of blood points you have is equal to your half of monk level (Rounded down) + your wisdom score modifier. (Minimum of 1.) You can restore blood points equal to your proficiency bonus through a successful use of your dhampir trait: vampiric bite, instead of gaining temporary HP or adding a bonus to your roll. Blood points are restored to maximum at the end of a long rest.

Crimson Vigor

As a bonus action you can use a blood point to gain temporary hit points equal to double your monks level.

Heart Sense

At 6th level you gain the ability to sense the presence of both predators and would be prey. Using a blood point you can detect any living humanoid creature within a 30ft radius of you- as well as other blood drinkers, you must be concentrated to maintain this.

Additionally you can use a blood point to gain insight into a living creatures true intentions as your vampiric senses pick up on the quickening of their heart beat upon telling a lie. They do not know you have used this feature, and they cannot contest this in any way without first rendering you deaf.

Bloodletting strike

At 11th level, you can spend 1 blood point to add an extra 2d6 necrotic damage to your one of your unarmed strikes per turn for one minute. If you fail to damage a target on your turn this effect ends early.

You can roll your bite attack against any creature hit with a blood letting strike on the same turn you make this attack with advantage.

Crimson Oath

At 17th level, you gain the ability to fully utilize your supernatural dominance as an apex predator. Using 2 blood points, you enter a state of heightened awareness and endurance, gaining resistance to bludgeoning, slashing and piercing attacks made against you by non-silvered, unblessed or non-wooden weapons. You cannot concentrate on spells in this state and it lasts for one minute or ends early if you deal, or take, no damage on your turn.

Additionally when you use your Heart sense feature your range of sight is increased to 60ft and your radius of hearing to 45 ft. You can now see invisible creatures as you can see the glow of blood pumping throughout their bodies. Ignore any benefits any invisible creature would have from being invisible when you roll attacks against them. You also gain advantage on perception rolls to find hiding creatures, as the frantic and terrified beats of their hearts gives away their attempts to hide from you.
