Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow the Way of the Lightning Fist are able to channel the power of lightning into their own bodies. They have the ability to use this power to increase their speed and augment their attacks with lightning, giving themselves an advantage over their opponents. This power may have been bestowed upon the monk as a boon from a god or could have originated from a happenstance encounter with elemental forces.
For some, this power is a mixed blessing. Elemental lightning can be unpredictable and dangerous - as such, channeling this power could have consequences. Some monks may give in to the unpredictability and danger, using their power for personal gain. Others may value self-control and discipline - since, with great power comes great responsibility.
