Tenets of Bamboo
The paladins who follow the Oath of Bamboo abide by these tenets:
- Protect the natural world. Defend the balance of nature and prevent harm to ecosystems and species.
- Show compassion. Aid those in need and promote peace and understanding.
- Embrace simplicity. Live modestly and avoid excess, both in possessions and actions.
- Honour your bond with pandas. Protect these animals and their habitats and seek to understand their wisdom and ways.
Channel Divinity: Nature's Wrath
Starting at 3rd level, when you take the Oath of Bamboo, you can use your Channel Divinity to call upon the power of nature to strike down your enemies. As an action, you can choose a creature within 30 feet of you and force them to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, they take 2d8 bludgeoning damage and are knocked prone. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not knocked prone.
Aura of Harmony
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you gain advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks when interacting with animals, fey, and other creatures that dwell in the natural world. Additionally, you and your allies have resistance to damage dealt by traps and other hazards found in natural environments.
Panda's Pounce
Starting at 15th level, you can channel the spirit of the panda to deliver a powerful strike to your enemies. As an action, you can leap up to 30 feet and make a melee weapon attack against a creature within range. If the attack hits, the target takes extra damage equal to your Charisma modifier and must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target is knocked prone.
Nature's Shield
Starting at 20th level, you can use your action to imbue your shield with the power of nature. For the next minute, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have resistance to all damage dealt by attacks made by creatures that dwell in the natural world. Additionally, you and your allies are immune to being frightened or charmed by these creatures. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
