Base Class: Rogue
Mastering the arts of stealth and sabotage, Abaajirai are what commoners call… samurais. This is not the original subclass, I simply improved on it as it was not very good. (Sorry)
Master of Sabotage
At 3rd level, you learn that already wounded creatures are much easier to attack. If a creature is at or below half health and you deal sneak attack damage to that creature, add 4d6 to the sneak attack damage.
Samurai Devotion
At 9th level, your extensive training with a single type of weapon deepens. Choose bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing when you pick this class. When you attack using this damage type, you gain the following benefits with it:
- When you score a critical hit using a weapon of your chosen damage type and don’t have advantage, you can still add sneak attack damage to it, on the condition that you do not double the sneak attack damage dice.
- When you deal sneak attack damage with your chosen damage type, you ignore resistance to that damage type.
- You deal an additional 1d6 damage when you attack with that damage type. This extra damage increases at 13th level (1d8), 16th level (1d10), and 18th level (1d12).
Samkurot Loyalty
At 13th level, you can call upon your samurai colleagues to assist you. As an action, you summon the ever-vigilant samurai. There are 3 samurai. One has a scimitar, one has a longbow, and one has a quarterstaff, which they are holding as a two-handed weapon. All of these weapons use their normal stats. You can order each samurai to go after one enemy. These samurai can attack one target or many. The samurai each make one attack before leaving. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Power of the Dragon
At level 17, you gain the awe of your samurai peers, and even the powers of the ancient dragons themselves. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain a red or gold dragon wyrmling as a familiar (your choice between red or gold). It never ages and stays a wyrmling, as it is truly a spirit in a dragon form. When it dies, you can perform a 1-hour ritual to revive it.
- You can breathe fire as an action once per long rest, which deals fire damage equal to half your sneak attack damage (rounded down).
- You can use Samkurot Loyalty twice between a long rest.
