Base Class: Fighter
Whether the survivor of a great calamity, or the prophet of a new and powerful being, Harbingers always bring portents of great change, for the good and ill of those in their wake. Harbingers have seen much, and have survived to tell the tale, though that has not come without suffering. The Harbingers path is often a lonely one, and fraught with danger.
Combat Experience
You begin level 3 with 5 cognizance tokens. All tokens are fully restored when you finish a long rest. You gain one more token at level 7, two at level 10, one at level 15, and two at level 18.
Advantageous
Beginning at level 1, you may expend any number of cognizance tokens at the end of your turn to change your position in the order of combat. Each token spent allows you to move two positions in a single direction. You cannot move both up and down in the same turn, even if you spend another token. If you moved higher in the order of combat, you may grant each ally you are now ahead of who you were not before originally, and is not unconscious or dead, a cognizance token. On their turn, at no action cost, they may expend that token to either gain temporary hit points equal to 1d8, which expire at the end of combat, or they may regain a spell slot of up to 1/3 of their highest spell casting level, rounded up. For example, a caster that is capable of casting level 7 spells may regain a level 3 spell slot or lower. All tokens granted to allies expire at the end of combat. If you move to a lower position in combat, you may gain temporary hit points equal to 1d6 for each enemy you are now lower than that you weren't originally. If you moved to a lower position in combat, you may take another turn, but you may not take more than two turns per each round of combat.
You may only use this ability once per combat.
Battlefield Opportunist
Beginning at level 3, you may expend a token to target an opponent for one minute. You may add 1d4 to your damage roll against that opponent. If the same opponent is still within your attack range at the beginning of your next turn, you may add 2d4 instead, at no token cost. At level 7, the first round of combat grants 1d6, and the second grants 2d6. At level 15, the first round grants 1d8 and the second grants 2d8.
Combat Weary
Starting at 3rd level, you may spend one cognizance token to roll 1d20. At any point during combat, you may use your reaction to apply this roll to yourself, or any creature you can see, that is making an attack roll, a saving throw, or an ability check. You must apply the roll before you see what the original roll would have been.
Standoff
Beginning at level 7, you may spend one cognizance token to cause an opponent to focus it's attention on you. The creature makes a wisdom check against you. If they fail, they are engaged in a standoff with you and have their movement reduced to 0 until the end of your next turn. If the creature chooses to attack anyone besides you, you may roll an attack against them. Doing so does not cost your reaction. If you choose to attack them with this feature, the creatures movement speed is no longer reduced.
Unyielding
Beginning at level 10, if you have no cognizance tokens at the beginning of initiative, you may choose to roll 1d4. You gain that many cognizance tokens.
Death Defied
Beginning at level 15, when you are reduced to hit points equal to 1/8 of your maximum hit points or lower, but not 0, you may spend three cognizance tokens to enter a trancelike battle state and gain a perfect awareness of the battlefield. This grants you a bonus to your AC and to your attack rolls that is equal to your proficiency bonus plus your wisdom modifier. This effect lasts up to one minute, or until you are incapacitated or killed, or otherwise if you are healed beyond the trigger threshold. You also notice any enemies that you can see that you might not have seen initially, as well as become aware of the states of all of your allies.

Your mom
Beginning at level 18, I dunno. I'm not sure what we want to do for level 18 yet
