Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Change represents ever-renewing opportunities. Each moment is a chance to alter the course, either personally or on a grander scale, and to take things in a better direction than in the past. The gods of change enjoy the blowing winds and exhort their faithful to follow where they go. They might champion change in the form of evolution or the passage of time. Alternatively, they might be seeking a particular change in the world or the cosmos.

Clerics of the Change Domain are devoted to the worship of these deities who embody the transformative power of change, examples of which appear on the Change Deities table. They embrace change and seek to facilitate it, using their magic to bring about shifts in the world and the lives of individuals. They are adaptable and flexible, always ready to embrace new opportunities and ideas, and they encourage others to do the same.

Bonus Proficiencies

1st-level Change Domain feature

You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.

Winds of Change

1st-level Change Domain feature

You call upon the winds of change to shift in your favour. Whenever a creature you can see within 60 feet of you is about to make an attack roll, a saving throw, or an ability check, you can use your reaction to give advantage or disadvantage to the roll (your choice).

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Channel Divinity: Power of Change

2nd-level Change Domain feature

You can use your Channel Divinity to harness the power of change and thwart those who seek control over the destinies of others. As a reaction, you can attempt to interrupt a creature you can see within 60 feet of you that is casting a spell. Make a Wisdom check. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, the creature's spell fails and has no effect.

Alternatively, you can attempt to interrupt a creature you can see within 60 feet of you that is forcing one or more creatures to make a saving throw and is not casting a spell. The DC instead equals 10 + twice the creature's proficiency bonus. On a success, the creature's ability fails and has no effect.

Cycle of Change

6th-level Change Domain feature

With your god's help, you move the burden to where it can be borne with ease. Whenever you cast lesser restoration, it has a range of 30 feet, and you can modify it to transfer the disease or condition you ended to a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be afflicted by the disease or condition until the end of your next turn.

In addition, you can add your half your proficiency bonus, rounded down, to the Wisdom checks you make when using your Channel Divinity: Power of Change feature. If you successfully make the Wisdom check, immediately after and as part of the same reaction, you can expend a spell slot to cast the spell or use the creature's ability that you interrupted.

If it is a spell, the spell slot level equals the level of the interrupted spell or higher. (If the interrupted spell is cast using a slot that is of a higher level than the spell, you can choose to cast the spell at its lowest level.) You don’t need to provide the spell’s components. If it is a creature's ability, the spell slot level equals the creature's proficiency bonus or higher.

Potent Spellcasting

8th-level Change Domain feature

You add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Embodiment of Change

17th-level Change Domain feature

Whenever you cast greater restoration, it has a range of 30 feet, and you can modify it to transfer the effect you undid to a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be afflicted by the effect until the end of your next turn.

In addition, you can add your proficiency bonus to the Wisdom checks you make when using your Channel Divinity: Power of Change feature, rather than half your proficiency bonus, rounded down.
