Desert Bastion

The Abzan Houses are resilient warriors that fight in tight-knit groups. Their homes are on the harsh, rugged desert plains.The center of the clan is the fortress city Arashin.They are regarded as the promoters of stability and peace, who protect the trade routes between the clans.

Their symbol is the scale, and they represent endurance.

Desert Wanderer

When you pick this class at Level 3, you gain Proficiency in the Survival Skill. If you already are proficient in it, you gain Expertise in the Skill.

Protector

You gain the protection fighting style.
Beginning at Level 3, when you use your reaction for protection style fighting, the target gains resistance against all damage of the triggering attack.
This ability can be used up to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Shield Wall

Starting at 7th Level, as long as you are wielding a shield, allies within 5 feet of you can add the shields modifier to dexterity saving throws and to their AC if they are not wielding a shield.
You can also add your shields modifier to your dexterity saving throws.

Desert Life

Starting at 10th level,as long as you are wearing armor, you count as adapted to arid environments and have resistance to fire damage.

Your movement speed cannot be reduced unless it is to zero.

Shield Mastery

Starting at 15th level, you may wield a shield two-handed, increasing your armour class by another 2.
While wielding a shield in this way you can use it as a martial weapon that deals 1d4 damage.

In addition, donning a shield takes you only a free action.

Armor Mastery

Starting at 18th level, metal gear you are wearing can't be affected by spells unless you consent to the spell being cast on your gear.
You gain a special reaction you can use up to your proficiency bonus per day, as long as you are wearing armor.
If you use this reaction to taking damage, reduce one damage type you would take to zero.

In addition, donning or doffing armor only takes you 1 action.
