Spell Caster

Casting Ability:

Silk Proficiency

When you take this archetype at 3rd level, you learn the basics to advanced silk assassination techniques. Your spell casting ability is Dexterity. Your proficiency with silks allows you to:

  • Command your silk to do certain tasks (that are allowed by the DM)
  • Your silks have 3 basic attacks: Slashing, Piercing, and bludgeoning damage. These will do a number of d8 relative to your current total level + your proficiency bonus; for example, at level 20 you would deal 20d8+6 damage of your choosing.
  • You can also cast spells.

Assassin Tactics

At level 9, you gain an even better sense for tactical combat. This gives your target disadvantage against grapple checks made with your silks. You may also use your silks to hide you, allowing you to use vanish. However, you may not attack on the same turn after using vanish. On top of this, you gain the option to dual wield silks, which also allows for two weapon fighting.

Silk Infusion

At level 3, with your DM's discretion, you can infuse your silks with different elements. Each element that gets infused into your silk has a different attack/effect. These infusions can stack, but DO NOT give you extra attack actions. The way that you infuse your silks and with what is required is at your DM's discretion. Each infusion will have their own weapon to keep track of how they work. in combat you can take the ready action, which allows you to infuse your silks with any spell. The spell infusion last until you make an attack roll against something, no matter if it connects or not.

The Art of Distraction

At level 13, as an action you can roll a performance check. If you beat a group wisdom perception check made by the target, they become distracted, allowing anyone that attacks the target(s) have advantage that round. However, this advantage does not apply to you.

Master Of Silks

At level 17, you become the best Silk fighter ever known. You gain the ability to triple wield silks, a feat that seemed impossible to everyone. You also gain the ability to gain inspiration when using The Art of Distraction Skill. You can also choose to spend an action defending with all three of your silks. This adds 10 to your AC.
