Base Class: Wizard
Order of the Archaic One has been established a long time ago, joining with the same cause of Grand Sorcerer Aeondayle: fighting the darker aspects of the Wilderness. By that means alone, they are the rival of the Circle of the Oblivion, which had the same cause, yet a different approach. The Order was established after the death of Archdruid Avstery, the founder of the Circle of the Oblivion, by Aeondayle. Those who joined the Order were unified for one of two reasons: the Source of Remembrance or their hunger for knowledge.
They fought the Dark Aspect more fiercely, wielding extermination spells to quickly end the battle. They studied spells, forbidden or not, to give them an edge in their crusade against the Dark Aspect. Their studies bear a fruit: their phenomenal capability of learning any magic quickly.
Spellcasting Savant
Beginning when you joined this Order at the 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy any evocation, conjuration, divination, necromancy, abjuration, transmutation, enchantment, or illusion spell into your spellbook are halved.
Source of Remembrance Effect
The magic of the Grand Sorcerer Aeondayle is rushing through your veins since your induction to the order. By this, you obtain the capability to activate the latent potential within the Source of Remembrance: Ancient Magic, causing you to see the truth of the world. You obtain +2 INT, +1 WIS, CON, and DEX; and You can add your INT modifier to one damage roll of any wizard evocation spell you cast.
You also attain damage resistance to Fire Damage, Cold Damage, and Lightning Damage. You also get to choose a spell from Sorcerer and Warlock classes.
Magic Advancement
By channeling to the Source of Remembrance, you gain further knowledge that your heart desired. But one's heart isn't enough. A soul too needs its desire fulfilled. Your enlightenment of the said condition caused the Source to rejoice, causing ripples of causality, and providing you with a choice. The option you choose will give you it's own benefits and weaknesses.
Procurator Heart
Beginning when you choose this option, Procurator Heart provides +2 INT, +2 CON, and +2 DEX Score, providing additional spells such as:
This option allows immunity from Charmed and resistance to Necrotic Damage. However, it causes vulnerability to the wielder of Poison Damage and Slashing Damage.
Resourceful Soul
Beginning when you choose this option, Resourceful Soul provides +3 INT and +2 CON Score, providing additional spells such as:
This option allows immunity from Blinded and resistance to Psychic Damage. However, it causes vulnerability to the wielder of Force Damage and Radiant Damage.
Study of an Eternity
At level 10, you are capable of learning two more languages of your choice and expertise to one additional skill of your choice. Because of your studies, magical runes start appearing out of nowhere around your hand, engraving their effect on both your body and mind. By this, your Base AC is set to 13, and you can choose a feat of your choice.
Channeling the Source of Remembrance
Starting at level 10, you can increase the power of your simpler spells. When you cast a wizard spell of 1st through 5th level that deals damage, you can deal maximum damage with that spell.
The first time you do so, you suffer no adverse effects. If you use this feature again before you finish a long rest, you take 2d12 necrotic damage for each level of the spell, immediately after you cast it. Each time you use this feature again before finishing a long rest, the necrotic damage per spell level increases by 1d12. This damage ignores resistance and immunity.
Source Drain
Starting at the 14th level, when you reduce a hostile creature to 0 HP, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Intelligence Modifier + your Wizard level.
