Culinary Healers are specialized healers who use food and cooking to heal and support their allies. They are often found working in kitchens or traveling the world seeking out new recipes to use in their healing magic.

Artistic Inspiration

At 1st level, as an action, you can create a dish that inspires your allies. All allies within 30 feet of you gain temporary hit points equal to your Cleric level plus your Wisdom modifier.

Culinary Expertise

At 2nd level, you gain proficiency with cook's utensils. You can use your proficiency to create dishes that have a magical effect. The dish takes 1 hour to prepare and has a cost of 10 gp. You can create a dish that gives an ally resistance to a damage type, removes a condition, or grants temporary hit points.

* At 10th level, the Culinary Healer gains expertise in cooking, allowing them to prepare their recipes more quickly and efficiently. They can now prepare double the number of recipes per day.

Healing Recipes

At 3rd level, the Culinary Healer gains access to a number of unique recipes that they can use to heal their allies. These recipes require ingredients and can be used as an action to heal a creature within 5ft of the Culinary Healer. The Culinary Healer starts with the following recipes:

  • Chicken Noodle Soup: Heals 1d8 hit points and removes one condition of the target's choice (such as poisoned, frightened, etc.)
  • Herb Roasted Vegetables: Heals 1d8 hit points and grants the target advantage on their next saving throw.
  • Sweet Berry Tart: Heals 1d8 hit points and grants the target temporary hit points equal to the Culinary Healer's proficiency bonus.
  • Grilled Steak: Heals 2d8 hit points and grants the target resistance to one damage type of their choice for 1 hour.

The Culinary Healer can prepare a number of recipes equal to their Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1) per day.

Kitchen Magic

At 6th level, the Culinary Healer gains the ability to imbue their cooking with magical properties. Once per long rest, they can cast a spell that targets a creature by feeding them a meal prepared with their Healing Recipes.

Artisanal Preparation

At 6th level, you can prepare dishes that not only provide nourishment but also restore health. Whenever you finish a short or long rest, you can prepare a number of dishes equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1). Each dish can restore a number of hit points equal to your Cleric level plus your Wisdom modifier.

Gourmet Buffet

At 8th level, as an ritual (1 hour), you can prepare a gourmet buffet that provides your allies with several benefits. All allies within 30 feet of you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your Cleric level plus your Wisdom modifier. Additionally, they gain advantage on all saving throws against being frightened or charmed until next short or long rest.

Culinary Mastery

At 17th level, you have mastered the art of culinary healing. You can prepare dishes that have even greater restorative properties. Whenever you use Artisanal Preparation, you can choose to prepare a single dish that restores a number of hit points equal to twice your Cleric level plus your Wisdom modifier. Additionally, whenever you use your Channel Divinity feature, you can also choose to restore a number of hit points to all allies within 30 feet of you equal to your Cleric level plus your Wisdom modifier.

* At 18th level, the Culinary Healer can create an epicurean masterpiece, an incredibly potent dish that can heal even the gravest wounds. Once per long rest, the Culinary Healer can spend 1 hour preparing an epicurean masterpiece. This dish heals 8d8 hit points and removes all negative conditions from the target. In addition, the target gains resistance to all damage types for 1 hour.
