Base Class: Rogue
Shadowdancers treat the battle as a playful dance. Pouncing on their foes and then escaping into the shadows only to attack them a moment later, they are the deadly artists who's fighting style is more akin to a deadly performance than a regular fight.
Now you see me
Beginning at 3rd level, every time you hide from a creature on your turn or start your turn hidden from a creature, your next melee attack will have its range increased by 5ft. and will trigger sneak attack provided you're attacking with a finesse or a ranged weapon that doesn't have the Heavy property and don't have disadvantage on that attack. This happens even if you have already triggered sneak attack this turn.
Move with the shadows
Beginning at 3rd level, you gain a limited resourse called Shadow Strands. You have a number of these Strands equal to your Rogue level.
You can use a bonus action to spend a Shadow Strand to teleport 30 ft. to an unoccupied space.
Lockstep
Beginning at 9th level, as a bonus action, you can spend 1 Shadow Strand to teleport to an unoccupied space within 10 ft. of a creature you've hit with a melee attack this combat.
Inner darkness
Beginning at 13th level, shadows stick to you and you can unleash them when you need an extra dance partner.
As an action, you can spend two Shadow strands summon a 10ft. radius sphere of magical darkness in a spot you can see within 60ft. of you. You can see in this darkness as normal. This sphere can be dispelled. For the purposes of dispel magic, the level of the effect is half your levels in this class rounded up.
Additionally, you can use your Move with the shadows feature to teleport to an occupied space within the sphere.
Shadow rave
Beginning at 17th level, as an action, create 2 illusory duplicates of yourself in the places you choose that are within 30 ft. of you. They act under your direct control on your turn as long as they are within 150 ft. from you. The duplicates can't use your Inner Darkness feature, have 30 health, their sneak attack is capped at 3d6 and they can't activate any magic items (although they can benefit from their passive effects). If you ever move more than 150ft. away from the duplicate, it disappears.
You can't use this feature again until you've completed a long rest.
