Base Class: Artificer

The Chef is a culinary master, using their skills in the kitchen to aid their allies and defeat their enemies. They have a deep understanding of the ingredients they use, allowing them to create powerful potions and dishes that can heal, buff, or debuff those who consume them.

Cooks Dogma

At level 1, you gain the following features as a cook:

  • Proficiency in cook's utensils
  • Advantage on history checks related to food

Specialty Dish

At level 2,  By spending 10 minutes cooking and expanding a chef slot you can create a Specialty Dish that lasts for the next 4 hours. It takes a bonus action to consume a Specialty dish. This dish provides a special benefit for the next minute to those who consume it. 

Sweet- Gain temp hp equal to twice your level in the chef class

Spicy- Gain 10 walking speed

Savory- Gain advantage on Athletics and Acrobatics ability checks

At level 5, you can expend higher-level chef slots to give specialty dishes a bonus effect based on the ingredients used in the making of it.

Food Fight

At 3rd level, as a bonus action, a Chef can use one of their chef slots to create one of the following effects that they can then use on this turn or use as a bonus action on any following turn.

On Fire!

Starting at level 5, after hitting an enemy with a melee weapon that you are proficient in, you begin to warm up. After two consecutive successful melee weapon attacks, you start Heating Up. While Heating Up, you gain the following benefits until you fail an ability check or miss an attack roll:

  • +1 to skill checks, attack rolls, and melee damage rolls

Your third consecutive successful melee weapon attack will put you On Fire! While On Fire, you gain the following benefits until you fail an ability check or miss an attack roll:

  • +1d6 fire damage to melee weapon attacks
  • Your body emanates a steaming hot aura with a radius equal to your level in the cook class. Enemies that start their turn in this aura take fire damage equal to your proficiency bonus. Allies that start their turn in this aura gain the effects of Heating Up.

At 9th level, while On Fire you can cast investiture of flame as a bonus action. Once you use this feature you must finish a long rest to use this feature again.

Soup Chef Specialty

At 5th level, you are able to cast the following spells by expending a Chef Slot:

Tasha's Caustic Brew, Cure wounds, Grease(Flammable)

Kitchen Combatant

At 2nd level, gain proficiency with kitchen tools as improvised weapons. Additionally, you can use your bonus action to make a melee attack with a kitchen tool.

Supreme Chef

At 15th level, your skills as a chef have reached the pinnacle of perfection. You can now create a legendary soup that can bring back the dead. As an action, you can prepare and serve a bowl of soup to a creature that has been dead for no longer than one minute. The creature returns to life with full hit points, and they gain the benefits of a Greater Restoration spell, removing any curses, diseases, or poisons affecting them. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Perfect Timing

At 9th level, you can add your Intelligence modifier to your initiative rolls. Additionally, you can use your reaction to provide advantage on an ally's attack roll, skill check, or saving throw that is within your reach.

Inferno (9th level On Fire feature)

At 9th level, while On Fire you can turn into a blazing inferno and cast investiture of flame as a bonus action. Once you use this feature you must finish a long rest to use this feature again.
