Base Class: Artificer
The Potionmaster thrives not so much at damaging a foe, but poisoning and debuffing. Potions and poisons that cause an array of effects such as blindness, deafness, paralysis to a foe, or potions that provide positive effects such as invisibility, water breathing etc. to allies.
Alchemist
You gain proficiency with alchemist’s supplies. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.
Potion Master
Your potions are finesse thrown weapons with a range of 30/60 feet, 40/80 feet with a sling, 60/120 feet with a crossbow.
Debuff Expert
The potionmaster can produce a number of potions per day (equal to their INT modifier + Proficiency Bonus) from the below list creating a range of effects. If the creature does not want to be affected by the potion, then they must succeed on a saving throw equal to the Artificer's spell save DC. These potions require a set list of ingredients to create, and with the addition of a bonus ingredient shown in square brackets (and an INT check greater than the player's spell save DC), the effect is more potent, increasing the duration or saving throw required, at the player's discretion. This must be decided when the potion is created. The saving throw will be increased by 3.
The effects of these potions may be slightly different outside of combat, up to the discretion of the DM.
