Base Class: Monk
The reluctant warrior. Following the path that winds between the noble discipline of peace and the endless strife of hate, you maintain restraint before unleashing the endless storm within. Because war, war never changes.
Implements of Tolerance
3rd-level Way of Restraint feature
Your gain resistance to all damage by sacrificing your fresh ki. While it only works when you do not wear armor, it also falls apart when your ki has attained its limits. Unlike other monks ki is not a weapon but a defense. It is meant only to strengthen the body and aid restraint, until you can no longer accept pacifism.
Set your Ki points to 0 at every long rest, your other abilities will determine if these Ki points are refilled.
Elude
3rd-level Way of Mercy feature
Your passivistic hands deftly avoid the strikes of your enemies. But restraint can only take you so far. How long can you hold out? As a reaction, you can gain 1 ki point and avoid projectiles, spells, and melee strikes. However you cannot gain more ki points than your maximum.
Lull the Children
3rd-level Way of Restraint feature
You draw ki from your opponent to bring rest to those who fight. When you strike a creature with an unarmed hit while you do not have maximum ki points, you may gain one to put them to sleep. This sleep however will be canceled if they take any damage. You gain proficiency in insight if you do not already have it.
The Endless Lullaby
6th-level Way of Restraint feature
You shake your head at the foolishness of those around you who seek violence to survive. All you can do is put them out of their misery of foolishness with your next strike and grant that same mercy of sleep to another.
You gain expertise in insight if you do not already to better determine if a target can be finished off or should be left to sleep longer.
When you use your Lull the Children feature you may use a bonus action to perform another unarmed strike on a sleeping target and retrigger the effect on the nearest enemy should your unarmed strike finish off the initial target.
Desolate Hands
11th-level Way of Restraint feature
You can now mete out a flurry of disarming strikes. When you use Flurry of Blows you may strike four times instead of two, each of your unarmed strikes in such a case is used to knock away the weapons of your enemies as well as disrupt the spell casting of spell casters you strike.
Unleash the Storm
17th-level Way of Restraint feature
Your restraint is at its limits, no longer will you hold back while foolish beings come after you. Instead you will send them to the path they are destined to reach before they cause more damage. As an action as well as bonus action you may use your ki points to strike up to {{proficiency}} unarmed strikes dealing double damage.
Once you use this feature twice, you can’t use it again until you finish a short rest.
