Base Class: Warlock
The chaos gods are the primordial manifestation of mortal emotion. Though aspects of them are not fully wicked, centuries of mortal mistakes have made those fragments of their personality almost completely overshadowed by their growing malice. Mortals who seek the power of these cruel deities must be cautious. For the chaos gods are fickle in their loyalty, and the price for failing them can be severe.
The Great Game
The four gods of chaos each focus on their own domain, and most who follow chaos choose one to be their divine patron. However, certain entrepreneurial mortals have found was to gain the power of not just one god, but all of them. In doing so they take part in what is known as The Great Game, the endless struggle for power between the four chaos gods. Through a system of deals, oaths, and wicked acts mortals can increase or decrease their favor with the gods of chaos. Eventually, they might become so adept at The Great Game that the gods themselves fight over their allegiance, each offering greater and greater gifts to attempt to gain their undivided loyalty.
A number of features in the Pact of Chaos subclass are reserved for servants of one of the four Dark Gods: Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle, and Tzeentch. Players track their favor with each god on the Great Game Table and can spend their favor on various rewards.
The gods will often ask the player to perform certain wicked acts to gain their favor, some of which may directly target another god and cause their opinion of you to lower. Favor is tracked on a scale of 1 to 8, with certain abilities being restricted by the amount of favor the player possesses. Favor cannot exceed 4 for any one god without the player dedicating themself to that god as described below. Players start with a Favor of 1 for each chaos god unless the DM determines that their backstory would have effected their standings.
Dedication: If a player has reaches 4 favor in one chaos god, they may choose to forswear all other gods and serve that one forever. They will lose all favor with the other gods and automatically gain 1 favor with their god of choice. They may also at this time choose to multiclass into their god's subclass, or switch to that class in it's entirety.

Expanded Spell List
The Pact of Chaos grants you access to new spells as you gain Favor. If you meet the Favor requirement for a spell, you know that spell and it doesn't count against the number of spells you know. Spells that do not have a favor requirement are added to the Warlock spell list for you and you can choose them whenever you would learn a new spell.

Reach into Darkness
At level 1, your mind becomes open to the will of Chaos. During a long rest, you may attempt to contact the dark gods in your dreams. You may seek out one god specifically or you may allow the gods to contact you. The DM will determine what god answers, and the nature of the message that they convey to you. There is also the possibility that other chaotic entities may attempt to hijack this connection, or that one god may attempt to deceive you into believing that they are another.
Once you have achieved 2 Favor with a god of chaos, you may attempt to ask them for their wisdom when you contact them. The DM will determine how the god responds to your request and if they answer honestly. The higher your favor is with that god, the more likely they are to be honest and helpful to you.
Dark Dealings
At 6th level the Dark Gods have begun to trust in your darkness, and offer you gifts to help usher you down your wicked path. You gain access to the following abilities from the Dark Dealings table based on your Favor. As your Favor changes, the abilities you have access to from this feature also change.
DARK DEALINGS TABLE
- When your Favor with all 4 gods is at 0, and you previously had at least 1 Favor with 1 god, you become insane until you take a long rest.
- If your Favor with all 4 gods is at 0, you previously had at least 1 Favor with 1 god, and you have been at 0 Favor with all 4 gods for at least 8 days; you immediately die. Your soul is transformed into a Mane and the being you once were ceases to be. Nothing short of a Wish spell can restore you to your former self. You can prevent this from occurring by switching Warlock subclasses or undergoing a ritual to remove all your warlock levels.
Nurgle
0. At the start of each day, roll a d20. On a 5 or lower, you have -1 to all CON checks. Spells such as Lesser Restoration or Remove Curse can cure you of this condition and you are automatically cured if your Nurgle Favor rises above 0.
1. You are immune to the Poisoned condition and you cannot become diseased.
2. You have +1 to all CON checks
3. You have advantage on CON saving throws.
4. You gain +1 to your AC.
5. You become immune to Necrotic and Poison damage.
6. You gain resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
7. You can use an action to consume some of your own magic to heal yourself. You may expend one of your unused spell slots to heal xd6 hitpoints, where X is the level of the spell slot you used. You may only use this ability once per day.
8. If a creature within 5ft of you would take Necrotic or Poison damage, you heal that much instead.
Slaanesh
0. At the start of each day, roll a d20. On a 5 or lower, you have -1 to all CHA checks. Spells such as Lesser Restoration or Remove Curse can cure you of this condition and you are automatically cured if your Slaanesh Favor rises above 0.
1. You are immune to the Charmed condition.
2. You have +1 to all Charisma checks.
3. Your speed increased by 10ft.
4. You have advantage on charisma saving throws.
5. You can use an action to make a persuasion check against any non-hostile creature. On a success, they believe you are friendly.
6. You can use an action make a persuasion check against any non-hostile creature. On a success, they are charmed by you for 1 day or until you act hostile towards them.
7. Creatures charmed by you will attempt to aid you in charming other beings. If you attempt to use an action to charm a creature while a creature friendly to them that you have charmed is within 5ft of either of you, you have advantage on that persuasion check
8. Creatures charmed by you will remain charmed by you until they are cured of the charmed condition by magic.
Khorne
0. At the start of each day, roll a d20. On a 5 or lower, you have -1 to all STR checks. Spells such as Lesser Restoration or Remove Curse can cure you of this condition and you are automatically cured if your Khorne Favor rises above 0.
1. You are immune to the Frightened condition.
2. You have +1 to Strength checks.
3. You have +1 on all saving throws against magic.
4. You have advantage on strength saving throws.
5. You can use an action to make an intimidation check against a creature. On a success, they are frightened of you for 5 minutes.
6. You can make an additional attack on your turn.
7. You are immune to the secondary effects of spells. Additionally, when a spell requires you to make a saving throw to reduce the amount of damage it deals, you always succeed on that saving throw.
8. If you would drop below 1 hitpoint, you instead drop to 1 hitpoint and gain +10 to your armor class for the rest of the turn. You can only use this feature once per day.
Tzeentch
0. At the start of each day, roll a d20. On a 5 or lower, you have -1 to all INT checks. Spells such as Lesser Restoration or Remove Curse can cure you of this condition and you are automatically cured if your Tzeentch Favor rises above 0.
1. You are immune to the Blind and Deaf conditions. Additionally you cannot go insane and are immune to spells such as Confusion or Crown of Madness that would drive you mad as determined by the DM.

7. When a creature attempts to access your thoughts or deal psychic damage to you, you may use your reaction to gain access to their thoughts or deal the same amount of psychic damage to them respectively.
8. You can cast Counterspell once per day without using a spell slot. When you cast Counterspell, you are always considered to have cast it using a spell slot 1 level higher than you cast it with (max 9).
Wicked Birthright
At 10th level, you have become powerful enough to have some bargaining power with the dark gods. When you contact the chaos gods through your Reach Into Darkness feature, you can now make demands of them to make certain things happen. When you do so, roll a D20, adding your charisma modifier and double the Favor you have with that god (if you are speaking to multiple gods, combine your Total Favor and double that amount). The DM determines if and how the gods will act based on your Favor. Making a request of one god is always easier that making a request of all 4 at once, but the effects of unifying all 4 gods to aid you can be far greater. If the god(s) answer your request, they will respond in ways similar to that of the Cleric's Divine Intervention feature.
Should your request be denied, you may loose 1 favor with the god who denied your request or receive a smaller punishment depending on your roll.
Demon of Chaos
At level 14, the chaos gods have deemed you worthy of receiving a taste of the ultimate prize their mortal followers can achieve, the honor of becoming a daemon prince. You stand upon the very edge of godhood, and your newfound status has given you favor from some of the mightiest being in all creation. For now, your power is limited, but one day you shall be able to ascend to your true potential forever more.
- You gain 1 Favor with each Chaos God and the maximum amount of Favor you can have with each chaos god without dedicating yourself to only one becomes 5.
- Servants of the Chaos gods that you have 3 or more Favor with are friendly to you and follow your commands.
- The Chaos Gods will always answer honestly when you ask them a question or for information when using your Reach into Darkness feature.
As a bonus action you may take on the form of a Daemon Prince for 1 hour. As long as you are a Daemon Prince, you gain the following abilities.
- Your creature type becomes Fiend and you can become one size larger if you choose (you decide when you first use this ability)
- You gain a pair of wings that grants you a fly speed of 30ft.
- Any fiend that you summon with a spell such as Infernal Calling is friendly to you and always follows your commands.
- You can cast Summon Fiend, Summon Shadowspawn, or Summon Greater Demon once per long rest without using a spell slot.
Champion of the Gods
At 20th level, your corruption is complete. The Dark Gods have found one of their strongest champions of all time in you, and they seek to reward you for your efforts.
- The time restriction on your Demon of Chaos feature is removed, but you can no longer transform back into your original form.
- The next time you use your Reach into Darkness feature during a long rest, you may cast the Wish spell for free.

Posted May 17, 2023Hello. Is there a way to actually track the Favor Points in D&D Beyond? Maybe I'm stupid, but I don't see how one can do it in a character sheet.
