Base Class: Fighter
"The blizzard subsides temporarily, letting the citizens gaze in awe as two men stand in the middle of the frozen fields of Jötarr. The winds suddenly come back howling louder and stronger than before, with the citizenry seeking shelter wherever they can find it from this unyielding frost; yet, the two warriors remain. Their hunt must continue."
Frost Wolves are said to hail from the deep north of Inaran, where freezing temperatures are a common occurrence. They have learned to harness the power of the never-ending winter, with their fighting style mimicking the predatory animals in the harsh winter climate. Little else is known about these silent warriors.
Winter's Edge
At the 3rd level, your senses begin to sharpen and the breath of cold winter flows in your veins, allowing you to temporarily empower your weapon's strikes. You gain proficiency in the Survival skill, and as a bonus action, you can empower one of your melee weapons with the powers of chilling cold. For one minute, melee weapon attacks with that weapon deal an extra 1d6 cold damage. In addition, every time you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your Frostblade DC (8 + your Proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or have their movement speed(s) reduced by 5 ft., to a minimum of 0, until the start of your next turn, as they become covered in frost.
Frost Beast's Agility
At the 7th level, your predatory and animalistic instincts sharpen exponentially. You can add your proficiency bonus to your initiative checks and you gain an additional 10 feet of walking speed.
Winter's Razor
At the 10th level, your comfort in the cold allows you to better channel the chills of ice. Your bonus action's damage from Winter's Edge becomes a 1d8, and you gain resistance to cold damage.
Frost Beast's Fortitude
At the 15th level, you become the embodiment of the never-ending winter. You become immune to cold damage and your hit point maximum increases by 15, and increases by an additional 1 per level in this class. In addition, the ground beneath you freezes, becoming difficult terrain in a 10-foot radius centered on you. The radius moves with you, and does not affect you or your allies. You can activate this effect at will.
Blizzard Strike
At the 18th level, you can rush toward your enemies as ferociously as the blizzards of your homelands. As an action, you can expend all of your movement speed to rush toward an enemy creature within 30 ft. of you in a flurry of vicious snow and hail. All creatures within a 20 foot radius of the target, excluding yourself, must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your Frostblade DC (8 + your Proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be hit by the full force of your strike. On a failed save, all creatures of your choice within a 15 foot radius take 8d8 damage of your weapon's damage type and 8d8 cold damage, and are also knocked prone. On a successful save, those creatures take half as much damage and do not get knocked prone. You then appear within 5 ft. of the target creature in a space of your choosing. In addition, the ground of the affected radius becomes encased in thick snow and ice, creating difficult terrain. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
