Base Class: Cleric
Clerics of Torment dedicate themselves to Asmodeus, allowing them to call upon his infernal power to incinerate, torture, and bind their enemies. Should such clerics prove cunning enough in crafting contracts, Asmodeus will even grant them authority over powerful devils.
Domain Spells
You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Torment Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.

Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor, forgery kits, and calligrapher's supplies.
Devil's Facade
At 1st level, you gain the ability to magically alter your appearance whenever you wish. You may cast the Disguise Self spell at will.
Channel Divinity: Invoke Devilry
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to create a magical devil's contract that is bound to Asmodeus, yourself, and the signer.
The contract must offer a service and payment from both parties. The payment may take any form, including the offering of one's soul to the Nine Hells. All parties must abide by the contract or incur punishment from Asmodeus himself. If the contract is written in a way to be beneficial to the Nine Hells and signed, you will be rewarded. If the contract is entirely beneficial to the signer with little or no gain for the Nine Hells, you will be punished.
(All aforementioned punishments and rewards are determined by the DM, but may include anything from benefiting from the Bless spell for a year as a reward, or losing all of your magic items and wealth as a punishment. All such punishments and rewards will vary depending on the depth and severity of the contract. Take great care when crafting a contract, as both you and the signer will be held accountable to every word of it. It is not recommended to pledge services to the signer of the contract that you are incapable of providing.)
Endurance of Dis
Starting at 6th level, your mastery of inflicting torment upon others grants you a tolerance to such methods. You gain resistance to fire damage and psychic damage.
Channel Divinity: Grasp of Phlegethos
At 8th level, you gain the ability to summon a fiendish hand of molten rock from the ground to serve as a magical torturer's rack.
By using your Channel Divinity, you may attempt to restrain one creature that you can see within 30 feet of you. That creature must make a Strength Saving Throw against your spell save DC, or suffer fire damage equal to your Cleric level, and become Restrained for 1 minute. While restrained, the creature has disadvantage on saving throws against your Cleric spells, and suffers additional fire damage equal to your proficiency modifier at the start of each of its turns. The creature may repeat its Strength Saving Throw at the end of each of its turns, becoming immune to the effect for 24 hours upon a success.
This feature cannot affect Huge or larger sized creatures.
Authority of Nessus
At 17th level, your service to Asmodeus has earned you a high place in the infernal hierarchy. Devils summoned by your Infernal Calling spell must obey your commands, and you may cast the spell as an Action without the material component. Additionally, you may summon devils of CR 8 or lower with the spell. Finally, any devils of CR 8 and lower must regard you as their superior.
