Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

There are magical processes that are seen throughout the multiverse which transform a human being in dramatic ways, and those who are the purveyors of this path are those who are a form of machine and a human body. In Avalestra, the Machine Goddess unleashed by Makaven the Crafty fled from the First Heroes to the north pole and there began establishing her mechanical empire all on her own ability. Being capable of powerful magical and psionic magics as a mechanical entity immune to the elements, the Machine Goddess chose a place harsh to life to establish herself in relative peace. Imagine her surprise when even in the terrible frozen arctic, she encountered stern men who used her region as trade route in certain seasonal phases. She was of course able to defend herself from them, but her established territory and structures continued to interfere in the migration of these men, and no small number of violent fueds between the Machine Goddess's mechanical minions and these savage men ensued.
In a clever epiphany, the Machine Goddess realized she understood how to transform these men into "living machines," which would be a way that they could all pass through her territory unhindered by her Modrons, and the transformation would make each of these men more powerful than they had even been before. Unbeknownst to them, it also makes them all sleeper agents to her will, and if she chooses, she can command their every action, despite their willpower. Thus did these men, known as the Shulto Tribe, choose to become "living machines," drinking in the serums that changed their body with microscopic machines and magic to become more like a machine than ever before. The Shulto was stronger, much tougher, and the cold didn't hinder them any longer. They were elated by this exchange, as it allowed them to hunt more than ever, which was their tribal pasttime, and the central act by which men earned tribal honor, judged by the size of their kills. Without much realizing the scale of their deeds, these prideful warriors have begun massively overhunting the large polar game in the arctic, further tipping the pole toward ecological disaster.

Remade Rage

3rd-level Path of the Remade feature

At 3rd level when you choose this path, you have undergone the "remaking," in which your body has been magically transformed partially into a machine. Normally, you look quite humanoid, as you choose, but when you are angered into a battle-ready state, your machine aspects emerge clearly, and you may begin to crackle, buzz, and whirr with mechanical action, transforming to look uncharacteristically "cybernetic" and mechanical. When you enter a Rage, you may choose to gain your choice of one of the following benefits for the duration of your Rage:
Assault. You have an arsenal of built-in weapons. Your non-critical weapon attacks and unarmed strikes do additional damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus once each turn. Additionally, as a bonus action, you can make a ranged attack with your choice of Strength or Dexterity + your Proficiency Bonus to a target within 50 feet. On a hit, you deal 1d3 + your choice of Strength or Dexterity modifier damage, and that damage is your choice of bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage.
Defense. You have exceptional defenses, hardened flesh, and powerful reactive instinct honed to a mechanical edge. You gain temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level, and you are treated as if you are proficient with all saving throws.
Speed. You have mobility improvements, such as miniaturized thrust devices (like rockets or repulsors). You are unaffected by difficult terrain, gain a 10 foot speed improvement to any form of movement you use (i.e. fly speed, swim speed, etc,) and whenever you take the Disengage action, you can move 15 feet instead of 5 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
When you have a finished a Rage with one of these benefits, your physical body emanates a lot of heat (not enough to burn or harm objects) and your speed becomes 0 for 1d4 rounds as you must allow your body to transform back into your default humanoid form.

Remade Resistance

6th level Path of the Remade feature

At 6th level in this class, you have become more thoroughly suffused with a mechanical bearing, the Remaking now fully integrating your body as both living and mechanical. When it is beneficial to you, you are treated as the Construct creature type, and spells or abilities that cannot target or affect constructs cannot target or affect you. Additionally, you gain immunity to environmental heat and cold, and to the Exhaustion condition. You no longer need to sleep, but can still be made to sleep magically, and can choose to sleep.

Mechanized Fury

10th level Path of the Remade feature

At 10th level, you learn how to transform your machine form into an extraordinary and powerful killing machine. When you enter a Rage, you can choose to explode with power, and creatures within 10 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw DC 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Constitution modifier or take damage equal to a die roll of your Brutal Critical feature as your choice of fire or lightning damage, or they take half as much on a successful save. During your Rage, your Brutal Critical bonus damage is your choice of fire or lightning damage (chosen when you inflict that damage), and when you deal that damage you may inflict that much damage of the chosen type to each creature within 10 feet of you.

Mechamorphosis

14th-level Path of the Remade feature

At this point you are capable of becoming a dangerous living machine with additional limbs and weapons, and capable defenses, trained to destroy opposition to your tribe and hunt ultimately beyond any other hunter. When you enter a Rage, you can choose one of the following transformations:
Extra Attack: You grow mechanical limbs or fuse weapons into your very body. When you take the attack action while in a Rage, you can make an additional attack as part of that action.
Primal Shield: You and creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you when you enter a Rage each increase their hit point maximum by a number equal to your Barbarian level and then gain that many hit points. This increase in hit point maximum remains until your Rage ends.
Streamlining: You transform your form into optimization for the environments you're moving through, with extremely efficient bodily streamlining. You gain +10 speed, and you cannot be affected by difficult terrain, you cannot be restrained, and you cannot be grappled. If you are prone, you may spend 5 feet of movement to stand up, and you can walk on fluid surfaces as if they were solid as long as you do not end your movement upon the surface. If you end your movement on the fluid, you will sink into it. If you are underwater, you have swim speed equal to your speed, do not need to breathe, and do not suffer disadvantage on attack rolls. These benefits end when your Rage ends.
