Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Where some warriors fight with strength and indomitable toughness, others fight with grace, instead. You are part of a very old tradition of fighter whose skills are passed from master to teacher through the generations. Your skills aren't just for battle. It is an art form, and crowds gather to watch your gracefully flashing blades. Some bladedancers travel so that others can see and appreciate their skills, while others have taken on the adventuring profession to use their skills for good, or to earn more coin from unearthing ancient treasures.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Performance and Persuasion skills.

Light on Your Feet

Also at 3rd level, while wearing light or no armor, you can add your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) to your armor class, and you ignore difficult terrain.

Leaf on the Wind

Starting at 7th level, when you make a melee attack against a creature, you don’t provoke opportunity attacks from that creature until the start of your next turn.

Deadly Artistry

At 10th level, after you move at least 10 feet, your melee attacks deal an additional 1d8 damage until the start of your next turn.

Flash of Retribution

Starting at 15th level, as a reaction when you take damage from a creature within 5 feet of you, you can make one melee weapon attack against that creature.

Danse Macabre

At 18th level, when you take the Attack action, you can use the Dash action as a bonus action. When you Dash in this way, attack rolls made against you have disadvantage until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature twice, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
