Base Class: Ranger
Nebelkrieger are the sworn knights and protectors of the recently reclaimed Barovia. Instated and trained by Cordelia and Lucette von Zarovich - both descendents of Strahd that ultimately helped free the world from his grasp - they are handpicked to stalk through the gloomy and often foggy woods and valleys of Barovia and search for threats to neutralize. Their combat strategies involve a slow and methodic approach of stealth towards their prey to strike from the shadows. That being said their capabilities in direct confrontation should not be underestimated. They are trained rigourously by Duchess Lucette to wield blades masterfully, grinded down by Master Sol'uno to have every arrow strike true, and upon completion of their training are gifted an enchanted mechanical black Lotus by Countess Cordelia.
Traditionally Nebelkrieger are sworn protectors to the house of Zarovich. That means that they only report to Countess Cordelia and Duchess Lucette. That being said their oath belongs to Richard von Zarovich, the only male - yet infant - heir of the bloodline.
