Bard
Base Class: Bard

The words of creation can still be heard throughout the cosmos, and select bards have learned to hear it in singing birds, the drumming of rain, howling winds, the pluck of a spider's web, or even the roar of a volcano. As one such bard, you have learned to add you own tune to the choir of nature, and with enough practice you can influence the world around you to follow your lead until you practically begin conducting the primal magic itself.

The best way to become one with nature, you've found, is to be maintaining your physical presence. By training to fight without magic, you establish yourself as a part of the food chain, but with magic you will rocket to the top.

Expanded Spell List

Starting at 3rd level, this Bardic College lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a Bard spell. The following spells are added to the Bard spell list for you.

College of Wilds Expanded Spells

Spell Level Spells
1st Absorb Elements, Entangle
2nd Flaming Sphere, Gust of Wind
3rd Call Lightning, Water Breathing
4th Elemental Bane, Blight
5th Conjure Elemental, Tree Stride

Understudy of Nature

Also at 3rd level, you know a minor secret of nature. You learn one Druid cantrip of your choice, which counts as a Bard cantrip for you but doesn't count against the number of cantrips you know.

You also gain proficiency with Medium Armor, Shields, and the Nature skill.

Ancient Wards

Finally at 3rd level, you can call on the power of nature to shield your allies from magic.

When a creature you can see within 30 ft. of you is targeted by a spell, you can use your reaction to expend a Bardic Inspiration die, and grant that creature resistance to damage from that spell.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Maestro of Life

At 14th level, you have begun to understand the harmony throughout the natural world, so you can better support those you are working in symbiosis with.

As an action, you can target one creature you can see within 30 ft. of you other than yourself, and cause that creature to regain a number of hit points equal to half their hit point maximum.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
