Base Class: Monk
Weight.
No monastery to call your home. You make your own path, carrying the weight of the universe on your shoulders.
Gravity.
You understand that nothing strange happens by chance. Fate is not set, but it has a way of influencing events. It brings people together, whether they like it or not.
Void.
They call your path forbidden. That you are lost. They are afraid of what they cannot comprehend.
Power.
There is strength in defiance. Fate brought you here, but you won't let it define how your story ends.
Concentrated strength
Due to you belief of absolute strength, you pride yourself on your physical resiliency.
You use your STR for Unarmored Defense Instead of DEX, with a +1 Bonus.
You may NOT take the dodge action, as you consider it cowardice.
Gravity Sling
Gaining extra control over gravity, you now understand its more precise applications.
When attacked by any ranged attack, you may spend 3 Ki points to use your reaction to sling the attack back at them.
- For physical projectiles such as arrows or javelins, redirect the attack back at the opponent. The damage dealt to you becomes the damage dealt to the attacker.
- With magical projectiles such as spells, make a WIS saving throw DC 10 + the spell level. If you succeed, then redirect the spell centered on the opponent. If you fail, you take damage as normal. Spells of 8th level or higher cannot be affected by this ability.
- If the attack is an ability like a dragon's breath, make a WIS saving throw DC 10 + the creature's CR. If you succeed, redirect the attack in the most direct manner. If you fail, you take damage as normal.
You may not use this feature when an attack would crit against you.
Some notes:
- For magical AOE attacks that might not target you but you would be caught in the splash, you may use this ability if the initial projectile flies within 10 feet of you ex. a fireball flies past you to catch multiple people in the blast.
Void Harbinger
You peer into the void, and for once it stares back. In the endless expanse you find true purpose.
Three times per long rest, you may use your bonus action to embrace emptiness and become a harbinger of the void. Ending on the start of your next turn, you gain the following effects:
- +2 AC
- Your movement becomes 10 feet.
- Immunity to Prone and Restrained
- Resistance to physical damage from nonmagical attacks (slashing, bludgeoning, piercing)
- 1d6 bonus force damage on hits
For consecutive turns of use, you may expend the charge as a free action. You gain an additional charge at 14th, 17th and 20th level.
Your new form matches your old one, except your entire body is covered in a starry energy with event horizons adorning your elbows and head (In any style and number you want, go nuts).

Skills from Beyond
You forbidden knowledge grants you access to skills thought impossible. You may have 1 choice at 3rd, 7th, 11th, and 15th level.
Cosmic Resilience
If a status condition (such as Charmed, Blinded, etc.) would be applied to you, you may spend 1 ki point to ignore that status effect.
Crushing Blows
Each turn you take the attack action, you may spend 1 Ki point to empower your strikes. They deal an additional 1d4+STR force damage.
You may NOT activate any other skills that would activate from making the attack.
If any unarmed strike is a critical, this effect applies automatically (no Ki point required).
Deep Well
You learn to draw upon you own essence in times of need to fuel your assault. As a bonus action, you may sacrifice 2d4 health points for each Ki point you wish to recover (max 4). Health lost this way can only be healed by resting, as it is not a normal wound. A short rest will recover half of them, and a long rest all.
Devour
When you use your gravity sling ability, you may spend an additional Ki point to absorb the projectile instead of sending it back. You must succeed on the same check as Gravity Sling, and if you do, you may gain 1/2 of the damage dealt as HP.
Immovable Object
You cannot be moved by force movement (eg. repelling blast)
Light-Eater
While in your void harbinger form, your increased mass bends light around you, making aiming really hard. All enemies within 20ft of you have a -2 to hit with attacks involving sight that are not targeted at you. (+2 to ally saves in cases of spells and abilities what to not use to hit).
Note: This doesn't apply to attacks that work in other ways, such as calling a name.
Complete Singularity
By concentrating all of your power unto a singular point in existence, you become the epitome of defiance.
Once per long rest, you can empower yourself while in void harbinger form to gain the following benefits:
- +2 AC
- All enemies must now target you (regardless of what they were doing before)
- Gravity sling now costs 1 Ki point
- You deal an additional 1d6 + STR Force damage on unarmed strikes (Crushing blows may not be activated)
This effect causes you to stay in void harbinger form until you run out of charges, but the effect is active the whole time.
