  • You can sense any noises within 80ft and can identify their source (the clink of metal chains, the growl of a beast, the crackling of fire etc.)

Percussive strikes

Starting at 3rd level when you attack using flurry of blows you can create one of the following effects:

  • The damage of the attack is thunder or force damage
  • You can force the target to make a wisdom saving throw, on a failed save they are charmed
  • You can displace yourself until the beginning of your next turn, making all attacks against you suffer a value equal to your proficiency bonus

Starting at 6th level you can enter a powerful performance during combat. You may enter the performance as a bonus action and it lasts for one minute, during the performance you can create small effects during each attack (a puff of smoke, a burst of sparks, a small shockwave etc.) These effects deal extra damage to your proficiency modifier and can deal the following damage types: fire, lightning, cold, radiant, force or thunder. Once the performance finishes you may grant up to 2 allies you can see an inspiration die of 1d6 (1d8 at 10th level). You may use this feature as many times equal to your proficiency modifier and regain all expended uses on a long rest.

Master performer

Starting at 17th level you have mastered the ki-empowered performance, granting it the following effects:

  • The effects are much more powerful (a small explosion, an arc of lightning, a torrent of water etc.) dealing damage equal to half your monk level instead of your proficiency bonus
  • You AC is increased by +1 for the duration of the performance
  • You may grant up to 3 allies or yourself an inspiration die when the performance ends (1d10)
