Base Class: Monk
Devoted disciples of particular religions, monks that way the Way of the Holy Hand find enlightenment within faith and a life of following a deity's tenets. It is through this, that they learn to focus their Ki onto a grander purpose, channeling it into divine restorative magic.
Often found enjoying the company of clerics or paladins that share or acknowledge their dogma, these monks usually come from deeply religious monasteries. Whatever the case may be however, monks of the Holy Hand harness sacred power to perform miraculous martial feats and magical healing alike.
Spellcasting
Beginning when you choose this way at 3rd level, your devotion grants you the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the cleric spell list.
Cantrips
You learn two cantrips of your choice from the cleric spell list. You learn an additional cleric cantrip of your choice at 10th level.
Spell Slots
The Way of the Holy Fist Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your cleric spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spell Bless and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast Bless using either slot.
Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher
You know three 1st-level cleric spells of your choice. The Spells Known column of the Way of the Holy Fist Spellcasting table shows when you learn more cleric spells of 1st level or higher. Each of these spells must be a divination or necromancyn spell of your choice, and must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.
The spells you learn at 8th, 14th, and 20th level can come from any school of magic.
Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the cleric spells you know with another spell of your choice from the cleric spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
Spellcasting Ability
Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your cleric spells, since you use your magic through your faith. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a cleric spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Healing Hands
Also at 3rd level, your ki is imbued with the essence of restoration. You gain a pool of dice, your Restoration Dice, and they are d10s. As an unarmed strike or as a bonus action, you may touch a creature and expend dice from the pool, restoring a number of hit points equal to the numbers rolled + your Wisdom modifier. You have a number of these Restoration Dice equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended die when you finish a long rest, or if you expend 2 ki points to restore an expended die as a bonus action.
When you reach 10th level in this class, the dice become d12s, and when used to restore hit points, you restore additional hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier for each expended die beyond the first.
Divine Sage
Starting at 6th level, your connection to divinity has become stronger. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain proficiency in the Religion if you don't have it already, and your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with it.
- Whenever you fail an ability check related to a deity, you may spend 1 ki point and reroll the result. You may only do so once per ability check.
- As an Action, you may expend 2 ki points and enhance your connection to divinity. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead, or any creature that is affected by a spell or magical effect within 30 feet of you that is not behind total cover.
Divine Channeling
At 11th level, you can channel your magic through your ki. You gain the following benefits:
- Whenever you cast a cleric spell, you may do so by expending ki points equal to 1 + the spell's level, instead of using spell slots. If you do, the spell requires no components that aren't consumed by the spell.
- Whenever you cast a cleric spell, if you cast it using a spell slot, you regain hit points equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + the spell's level.
- Whenever you roll a critical hit on an attack, you may cast a cleric spell from your Way of the Holy Fist Spellcasting feature (no action required).
Pietous Gift
By the time you've reached 17th level you can, as an action, focus the connection with your deity to cause one of the following effects.
- You restore up to 500 hit points, divided as you choose among any number of creatures that you can see within range.
- You gain truesight for 10 minutes.
- You gain temporary hit points equal to four times your monk level. While you have these temporary hit points, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC and whenever you hit with an unarmed strike, the creature takes additional radiant damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
You can use this feature once, regaining the ability to use it again when you finish a long rest or if you expend 11 ki points to use it again.
