Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Halflins are not norious for their barbarians, yet there are a few. Most of them are carefree idiots who do as they please with little regard to consequences, but always seem to land on their furry feet.

Only halflins are similarly lucky creatures may take this subclass.

Lucky Step

You are spectacularly lucky. Beginning at 3rd level, when you step on a trap, before any of the effects of the trap are applied, make an ability check with a d20 + half your level in this class, rounded down. If the result is 20 or above, the trap misfires.

Laughing rage

Beginning at 3rd level, even your rage seems carefree. When you are raging, you may choose to throw any roll again, or have a creature attacking you throw its roll again. Doing so ends provokes a burst of laughter from you and ends your rage.

Weave Through

You always seem to catch your opponents flat-footed. Beginning at the 6th level, you impose a disadvantage on any attack of opportunity made against you.

Lucky Strike

It may look like you meant to pierce that giant's head through its eye, but that was pure luck. Beginning at the 10th level, your melee attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. When the target is a giantkin or any humanoïd creature that is Large or bigger, double the additional damage from the extra thows of your Brutal Critical feature.

Evasion

Beginning at 14th level, you can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a red dragon's fiery breath or an Ice Storm spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
