Monk
Base Class: Monk

You have mastered the ability to channel your Ki in ways that enhance your movements and channel the powers of lightning and speed of the sound of thunder.

Lightning Flash

As an action, you can spend a Ki point to take a special dash action.

You gain the benefits of the dash action and can move through enemy spaces, but can only move in a single direction for the rest of your turn. Any time after you take this action and move within 5 feet of a creature you can make a single melee attack against it.

When you reach level 11 in this class you can change direction once after taking this action, and at level 17 you can change direction twice.

Mach Reflexes

6 level Way of Lightning Speed feature

When an ally you can see within range of your movement speed is targeted by a ranged attack, you can use your reaction to move within feet of 5 feet of that ally and become the new target of that attack.

As part of this reaction you can use your Deflect Missiles feature.

Storm Strikes

When you reach level 11 you can choose to deal lightning damage instead of the normal damage for your unarmed strikes.

Additionally, when you take the Lightning Flash action and hit a creature with a melee attack you can deliver a thunderous blow. The creature must make a Strength saving throw against your Ki save DC or be shoved away from you a number of feet equal to half your remaining movement speed and be knocked prone. If the creature hits an object larger than themselves, they immediately stop and take 1d6 bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet they moved.

After using this feature your movement speed is reduced to 0 for the rest of your turn.

Sonic Boom

17 level Way of Lightning Speed feature

After you use the Lighting Flash feature, you can spend Ki points, up to a maximum number equal to your Wisdom modifier, to release a sonic boom. Every creature you made a melee attack against this turn must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 2d10 thunder damage per Ki point you spent on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful save.
