Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Wizards who choose the School of Self-Discovery arcane tradition embark on a unique path of self-discovery and divine magic. These individuals delve into the mysteries of the divine, blending their mastery of arcane energies with divine power. This connection to the divine grants them access to potent healing and support spells, as well as a range of other divine abilities. Divine Soul Wizards often find themselves in roles as protectors, guides, and saviors for those around them, using their unique blend of arcane and divine magic to make a difference in the world.

At 2nd level, Divine Soul Wizards gain access to the cleric spell list, allowing them to prepare and cast cleric spells as if they were wizard spells. This expanded spellcasting versatility sets them apart from their peers, offering a wide range of support and healing options in addition to their arcane repertoire.

As they progress, Divine Soul Wizards unlock additional divine abilities, such as Blessed Channeling, which allows them to imbue their damaging spells with radiant or necrotic energy. They also learn Divine Metamagic, enabling them to enhance their spells using sorcery points and metamagic options.

At higher levels, their divine connection allows them to call upon Divine Intervention, providing aid in various ways, including granting advantage on rolls, removing negative conditions, or healing others. Finally, they achieve Divine Transcendence, temporarily transcending their mortal form to gain flight, an aura of divine energy, and the ability to heal allies within that aura.

Overall, the Divine Soul Wizard offers a unique and powerful blend of arcane and divine magic, making them versatile and valuable members of any adventuring party.

Divine Spellcasting

When you choose this arcane tradition at 2nd level, you gain access to the cleric spell list in addition to the wizard spell list. You can add cleric spells to your spellbook and prepare them as if they were wizard spells.

Blessed Channeling

At 2nd level, you gain the ability to channel divine energy through your spells. When you cast a wizard spell that deals damage, you can imbue the spell with divine power. Choose either radiant or necrotic damage. The spell deals additional damage of the chosen type equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Divine Metamagic

Starting at 6th level, your connection to divine magic allows you to enhance your spells with divine metamagic. You gain two metamagic options from the sorcerer class (see the Player's Handbook for options). Additionally, you gain a number of sorcery points equal to your wizard level. You can only spend these points to use your metamagic options.

You regain all expended sorcery points when you finish a long rest.

On Beyond this is added as the homebrew Divine Metamagic feat

Divine Intervention

Beginning at 10th level, you can call upon your divine connection for aid. As an action, you can request divine assistance, causing one of the following effects:

- Grant divine inspiration that can give advantage on a single attack roll, ability check, or saving throw in the next hour.

- Remove a negative condition, including a curse or a disease, from a creature within 60 feet of you.

- Restore hit points to a creature within 60 feet of you, up to a number equal to your wizard level.

You regain the use of this feature when you finish a short or long rest.

Divine Transcendence

At 14th level, your bond with divine power allows you to temporarily transcend your mortal form. As a bonus action, you can enter a state of divine transcendence for 1 minute. While in this state, you gain the following benefits:

- You have a flying speed equal to your walking speed.

- You emanate an aura of divine energy in a 30-foot radius. Allies within the aura have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

- You can use an action to cause a creature within the aura to regain hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier + your wizard level.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
