Monk
Base Class: Monk
The way of Shura refers to the way of the martial artist who seeks power for the sole purpose of being the strongest. Defeating others in a constant quest for power, those who follow the path of Shura live for the purpose of conflict. Fighting to gain greater power, and gaining greater power to experience greater battles, this is the fate of those who walk this path. The techniques of this path are named based as weather situations because of it's ideals of being as unstoppable and unreachable as the sky.

Ikazuchi (Thunder)

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you know how to hit your enemy's weak spots with precision. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can make these attacks do thunder damage and impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
  • It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
  • It can't take reactions until the end of your next turn.

Kumori (Cloudy sky)

Starting at 6th level, your moves are sudden, precise and you are always aware of your surroundings. You gain the following benefits.

  • Calm and Aware. Attackers can't gain advantage on melee attacks on you by the flanking rule or pack tatics.
  • Redirect Attack. You can use your reaction to parry the blow when you are hit by a melee weapon attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.

If you reduce the damage to 0, you can spend 1 ki point to cause that attack to hit one creature of your choice, other than the attacker, that you can see within 5 feet of you, as part of the same reaction.

Arashi (Storm)

At 11th level your reflexes are used to the combat and so you can accomplish great bursts of speed. When you use your action to Dash, you can use a bonus action to make a melee weapon attack to any creature that you get within 5 feet. You can attack a number of creatures equal to your profiency bonus. A creature can take this damage twice during a turn and moving doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks.

Mukuuha (Cloudless Sky)

At 17th level, you gain the ability to set up lethal vibrations in someone’s body. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 3 ki points to start these imperceptible vibrations. When you use this action, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, it is reduced to 0 hit points. If it succeeds, it takes 10d10 thunder damage.

You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.
