Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

When a barbarian pushes recklessness to the extreme of endangerment, a brute is born. A crazed barbarian who those themselves ever harder at the enemies, fully expecting the enemies to throw themselves harder back.

Focused on improving the Reckless Attack and Brutal Critical features, this barb lowers their guard further to ensure the perfect strike.

Reckless Savagery

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you use your reckless attack feature, you can use your Bonus Action to make it so the first attack you make until end of turn that hits an enemy does critical damage. The attack still must beat the target's Armor Class as normal for this to work.  You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength modifier, regaining all uses at the end of a long rest.

However this Reckless Savagery also means that until the start of your next turn, any attack that hits you is treated as a critical hit. This debuff overrides any source of Critical Hit immunity you would normally have.

Brutish Backlash

Beginning at 6th level, your anger seethes from you, and punishes those who are near, especially those who refuse to attack you. Whenever a creature ends it's turn within your melee range while you are raging, they must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8+Str+PB) or take psychic damage equal to your rage damage bonus. If the creature did not deal damage to you during your turn, it has disadvantage on the save.

Brute's Tactics

Beginning at 10th level, you can use your weapons in impossible ways enabled by your strength. At the end of a long rest, you can choose one of the following benefits, which last until the end of your next long rest.

-Your rage damage bonus is doubled for damage rolls using bludgeoning weapons

-You can use a two handed weapon with one hand, however you cannot wield another two handed or versatile weapon in the other hand.

-You can add your proficiency bonus to the damage of your Brutish Backlash

-Once per turn when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can knock it prone.

Unyielding

Starting at 14th level, whenever you would be reduced to 0 hit points by a critical hit, you are instead reduced to 1 hit point.
