Base Class: Fighter

Using a combination of traditional fighting styles and bard-like charisma, the gladiator is able to inspire and smash all at the same time. The bardic gladiator knows how the slice and dodge with magnificent flourishes, and relishes riling up the crowd for their own entertainment. Allies and spectators will be delighted by the bardic gladiators displays of strength and daring feats.

Inspiring Swords Play

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain a pool of bardic inspiration equal to your strength modifier. Bardic inspiration scales as per the bard table.

Additionally, you gain proficiency in performance. If you are already proficient in performance, you gain expertise. If you perform using your weapon or body, you may use performace based on strength.

Been there, done that

You have seen many types of people and places and have gleened new skills by carefully observing adversaries and friends.

You gain proficiency in one skill, tool and language. 

Strike them down

At 10th level, your bardic inspiration may be added to damage. 

Additonally, you may use a free action at the beginning of combat to intimidate the enemy. Any enemy that can see you must make a wisdom saving throw (insight) or gain disadvantage on their first attack.

Crowd pleaser

Starting at 15, you have learned how to make the best of your attacks. Your weapon attacks score a critical on a roll of 19 or 20.

Does this not entertain you?

At 18th level, you are so adept at entertaining your allies that you can inspire them through truly epic moves. Each time you land a critical hit against an enemy, all allies that can see you gain 1 bardic inspiration die. This inspiration can only be used on an attack roll or saving throw and is lost at the end of a battle.
