Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Path Of The River is a monastic tradition that focuses on the infinite possibilities in the world around them. They are able to manipulate potentials, alter the time stream, and walk the narrow path to unlikely success.

Because of the pressures of the currents in the River Of Possibilities, they may not carry anything in their hands while using the Path Of The River features.

Watch The River

As you learn to focus your ki, you are able to view the river and its many possibilities. You gain the following benefits:

Read The Current. After meditating for at least ten minutes, you gain advantage on initiative checks until your next long rest.

At level 11, you can add your wisdom modifier to your initiative checks.

One With The Current. You can visualize the path towards your success. The paths are related strongly to the physical actions you take, but you can now focus on them enough to see the optimal place and way to strike an opponent.

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can add your wisdom modifier to your attack and damage roll. You can use this ability on only one attack per turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. While you have no uses available, you can spend 5 ki points to use this feature again.

At 11th level, this feature applies to every unarmed attack made that turn.

Pushed By The Current

You can not only see the potential paths of those around you but you can alter their outcomes. As a bonus action, you can give advantage or disadvantage to anyone within reach of your move distance. Advantage or disadvantage must be applied to their next d20 roll.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. While you have no uses available, you can spend 3 ki points to use this feature again.

Ride The Current

When you use your Step of the Wind, you can spend an additional two ki points to grant yourself Haste for one minute.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Every Current

You can take multiple possible paths all at once, before all of your realities converge into the path of your choice. This ability allows you to attack a number of enemies equal to your wisdom bonus as if you spent the entire round moving to and attacking only that enemy. You must pick one of these possibilities to end your turn at.

This ability is only usable once per long rest.
